Vinny's Pizza — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

The food is mediocre at best. I don't know what happened to this place. The food used to be great Now every time that you eat it you end up on the toilet the next day. So much grease in the cheese or whatever now. I was ordering from here which will never happen again due to the convenience of it being open late. I thought I could get the food delivered, however you cannot understand a word that they are saying. I'm not sure if someone has bought the company or not. All I know is there's a really strong language barrier now. Honestly I just do not recommend this food. The service was absolutely terrible. After trying to get the food delivered the phone was breaking up I couldn't understand a word that they were saying, and I did not want my order to get messed up. So I drive down there, and order one Italian beef roll along with a large sausage and pepperoni pizza for the total to come out to almost $50. Apparently that's without the delivery fee. As I waited 20 minutes for the food to be ready I forgot my wallet in my truck. I had asked for a simple cup of garlic butter which they insisted I had to pay an extra dollar and $0.10 which is just beyond me. It's not about the money. It's about the service

Vinny’s used to be the place… like 6 years ago. My last order was absolutely horrible. I called for a pizza two nights ago and was expected to receive it within an hour. My pizza never showed after I canceled the delivery, the driver if delivered would’ve taken 90 mins. I called to let them know and was responded to very rudely. I asked to let them leave my name and the worker hangs up on me! The next day I called to let them know I want a refund or a credit and I take the credit, the gentleman on the phone early in the day was very nice and seemed disturbed by the other employee’s incompetence. I called later in the night to use my credit and I added an extra ingredient. It was an extra $2.XX, I asked if we could just nudge that off for not delivery in a timely manner the night prior. The employee was one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to on the phone, it was like I was asking for a million dollars, she runs they why and howwww they’re helping me, I didn’t ask how and what they were applying. Then the delivery for that pizza took over an hour and a half, absolutely ridiculous customer service. The pizza doesn’t even taste the same anymore. I will not be ordering from here again. If you do, be prepared to wait over the estimated hour arrival time...

We usually order from this place & We usually enjoy it too. Lately it has been pretty busy but we are understanding. We ordered two shrimp meals with extra shrimp. Apparently after we were charged and the food delivered we noticed there was no extra shrimp.-Now I would have been ok with paying for an extra meal . When we called the lady that answered was super rude. She blamed the entire thing on a “kid” after having us wait 10 min to find our order . Blamed the “kid” (her words) Bc he was new. She would not stop talking to listen to what we were trying to tell her & she raised her tone so we wouldn’t be able to speak. She did not take accountability for anything not the fact that the order was wrong, her disrespectful behavior…We received no receipt. And she wouldn’t listen at all. If she’s the manager someone higher up needs to deal with this because it is a problem. If someone doesn’t know how to handle high demand in the job and is completely rude and disrespectful to customers. You will lose business pretty fast. You need to look into this lady or give her training. There is no excuse on the way she answers the phone or talks to customers and it was not a problem with the kid that took our order. It was her disrespectfulness and...
