Great Pizza, food took an hour, insulting server. The skinny server with dark hair and a big nose (night time, March 11th) was insulting. Sincerely great pizza! We go all the time and haven't had this experience before. However, getting insulting responses to requests and smirks and laughs when you are subsequently frustrated (after lackluster service) is unacceptable. I love this place but this brat makes me not want to go back. I figured maybe I just wasn't vibing well with him so I confirmed with my family after we left the joint. The consensus was that he was rude and short in his interactions since the moment we arrived. My mom said he was a jerk. To be fair, he did his job, even if not perfectly. He wasn't slammed but it was busy. Having been a server for several years in the past, I know being busy can be stressful so I have a lot of patience in these situations. My mother asked him if he felt we ordered enough pizza... perhaps an unnecessary question. He literally looked at her and walked away. Hence the jerk assessment. My father was annoyed that we were not given napkins and had to wait for silverware but I know what it is like to have a lot going on and don't fault the guy for imperfection. No big deal. At the end however, my father asked him for a to-go box. He gave us a small to-go container that fit two pieces in for our eight left over pieces from three different pizzas. Still, I'm sure it's an honest mistake. I got up and asked for a real to-go pizza box. He insultingly replied, "a Real to-go box?" with obvious patronizing sarcasm. His smirk let me know that he knew exactly what I was talking about. I skipped him and grabbed a box myself. Of course, this means you get laughed at by your server here at Lou's pizza. It's not funny. It is annoying. To top it off, rather than clearing our table when we had long since been finished, he sits and bounces to the music playing as he counts his tips at the register. Frankly, I'd rather skip the amazing pizza than endure this lack of respect and professionalism from this arrogant little brat. Mediocre service is acceptable. Being patronizingly insulted and laughed at is not. Again, wonderful pizza but this guy is doing Mr. Lou no favors. Sorry Lou, but this gets one star because I hated my...
Read moreWe came in on Sunday, May 25th, a bit before closing; not exactly prime time, but still within open hours. From the second we walked in, the vibe was off. The girl working that night seemed annoyed we were even there. She was short with us, had a bit of an attitude, and just generally made it clear we weren’t welcome.
When the pizza came out, it was basically thrown on the table without a word. We had ordered the supreme, but the veggies were all undercooked, and the whole thing felt kind of thrown together. It didn’t taste like a proper woodfired pizza at all, more like something from a regular oven, but at a higher price.
We had high hopes going in after seeing all the good reviews, but between the food and the service, it was a real letdown. The atmosphere was okay, nothing special, but not enough to make up for the rest.
Overall, not worth the stop or money. We wouldn’t recommend and definitely...
Read moreWe have always enjoyed eating Lous Pizza it has been a family favorite. But, the customer service is horrible. I don’t know how many times we have gone and eaten in the restaurant & the waiters were horrible. When we call to place an order it seems as if you are a bother to them. I called today to place an order for 3 heart shaped pizzas at 4:30 and they told Me it would be ready by 6:30. I called at 6:56 to make Sure the order was ready. The asst manager picked up the phone and when I asked him if my order was ready he said ugh put me on hold and left me there for almost 10 minutes. They finally hung up and I called back letting them know the customer service was horrible. We will definitely think twice about ordering from here again. And for the Asst Manager I think you need to take a class or 2 on...
