I know this sounds petty, but it is worth mentioning. Over the years, we have eaten there many times and always have had a nice experience. However, we stopped there yesterday for lunch, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. As we sat down, a gut came over to ask us if we wanted some chips and salsa. We said yes, and he brought over chips and salsa with a VERY SMALL TEA CUP SIZE of guacamole. The food was good like usual and I left a 30% tip. After I paid, we got to leave, and the guy came up to say that we forgot to pay for the guacamole. I said, "You are charging us for that little cup of guacamole ?" It was so small that you maybe could get a few chip worth. It was in a cup that was in a tea cup size cup. My partner is from Peru and she told them that she couldn't believe that they were charging us and also that we didn't order it. He didn't care. I asked for the manager and he said sorry you will have to pay for it.. which was $ 8.00. Once again, I know it sounds petty. But after over $50, you think they would make it right. Nope ! Reminded me of the scams when I was traveling in South America. So, I paid the $8.00 for that little guacamole. But I also crossed off my $12 tip.. unfortunately, I no longer can patronize a business that acts that way.. once again, I realize it is a small petty thing. But it is worth...

This place was pretty much a joke when you can find so many good Mexican restaurants in the 5 county area. Starts out with the waiter chomping on his gum with his mouth so open the flies around the sub par food could have flown in it. Then one of the young ones ordered Nacho's with chicken an she was served some tortilla chips with a little bit of white cheese. No chicken, no tomatoes, no anything else. After 10 minutes from being served we had to flag down a bus person to get our gum chomping waiter back. When we asked for the chicken that we ordered we also asked for some lettuces and salsa. It came back with a little bit of chicken and nothing else. Had to ask again for the lettuces and salsa. And DO NOT make the mistake of ordering the Margarita on special. It is made in a batch and is watered down junk. I wasn't going to rain on the party but the other family we where with said this used to be a pretty good and recently the last times they've come here it's worst and worst and we all agreed that this place is a Joke! Oh ya, had to track down the waiter again just to pay our inflated bill. DON'T WASTE...

Came in a little after 8pm (they close at 9pm). Ordered the two choice "You pick" and got the Chimichanga and Taco.

Soda was good Salsa was good Rice and Beans were good.

Chimichanga was 1-star. The tortilla shell lacked any 'crunch' whatsoever. The ground beef lacked any flavor.

Taco was 1-star. Tortilla shell had a stale crunch. Not crispy, not soggy. Again, ground beef lacked any spice or flavor. At least Taco Bell's meat has some flavor.

Food was delivered to my table incredibly quickly. I guess there must not have been a backup at the microwave. (Maybe they don't use a microwave, but the meal wasn't much better than I could have gotten for a quarter of the price if I went to the frozen isle at Pick N' Save.)

Server was conscientious and stopped by my table prior to taking my order. After the food was delivered, I never saw her again until I walked up to the cash register to pay.

Very...

The most authentic Mexican fare off the beaten path in the heart of Delefield. Their outdoor seating is spacious with it's own bar; However, most its seating is via picnic tables making those wanting to sit back to relax tough but I personally can't understand how anyone would want to within their energetic atmosphere. Service was friendly and their staff more than happy to have us as their guests. I tremendously enjoyed my favorite mexican dish, enchiladas! The food alone brought me back to our recent vacation in Playa Del Carmen. Where most mexican restaurants will serve three enchiladas, Mazatlan offers four with all the fixings served separately for $11. Add a jalepeno margarita and you have yourself a perfect dinner. With 20% gratuity (not automatically applied to the bill) our dinner and drinks for two was about $55. Enjoy the excellence of Mazatlan!

Food was piping hot ( so hot the handle of my knife had melted to the skillet by the time it was set down infront of us), full of flavor and served in big portions. The atmosphere was colorful and full of unique touches. Unfortunately, the service was not good. We entered an empty dining room and were seated at tiny, unlit table next to the bathrooms with a broken open katsup bottle and a servers spare apron tucked in with us. Our server had no interest in explaining the specials. We came in during a notable lull, being the only table in the dining room for the first 15 minutes of our visit, so I'm at a loss for why he was in such a hurry to get away from us.

A great location for a Mexican restaurant in downtown Delafield, I had no idea it was even there. The inside is decorated like your classic Mexican restaurant and for a Saturday it wasnt that busy. We were seated right away by the friendly staff, though when we tried to order drinks, I think our waiter only spoke Spanish. Great for authenticity, but challenging for us visitors. I ordered the chicken flautas, one of my favorites. They were good and covered in cheese, even better, the side of rice was average. We would definitely stop in again, I'll have to brush up on some Spanish.
