RUN, Don’t Walk—This Local Health Store is a Wellness Wonderland!
If you’re into organic food, natural supplements, plant-based snacks, or just love discovering hidden gems that actually care about your wellness—this is your place. Seriously, stop what you’re doing and head over. This store is a sanctuary for the soul, body, and curious foodie spirit.
From the moment you step in, it wraps you in a warm, earthy hug. You’re greeted with shelves stocked with clean-label, non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan goodies that go way beyond your typical health food store.
Let’s talk highlights: • Functional Wellness Drinks Galore: Their cooler is a colorful dream—CBD Living, Odyssey Elixirs, Riot, Clean Cause, and GURU Energy. Whether you need mushroom adaptogens, focus-enhancing nootropics, or natural caffeine without the crash, they’ve got your mood and energy covered. • Superfood Heaven: I found organic sun-dried jujube bites, US-grown black turmeric capsules, and a soothing Immune-Tea mix with ginger, turmeric, and lemon that I can’t stop drinking. These aren’t just trendy—they’re genuinely powerful ancient remedies. • Bee Pollen Bliss: Locally sourced bee pollen from A&E Apiary in charming glass jars and cute honey bears! It’s a natural multivitamin and a beautiful reminder of what bees give us. • Unique Finds You Won’t See in Chain Stores: • Moringa hot chocolate with zero refined sugar (hello antioxidants!) • STIR mushroom coffee loaded with gut-friendly nootropics • Homeopathic pet supplements (yes—your fur baby deserves clean wellness too!) • Almond flour crackers from Simple Mills • Turtle and duck-shaped beeswax candles that add whimsy and warmth to any space. • Feel-Good Vibes Everywhere: From the quote on the wall saying “Be the reason someone smiles today” to the lovingly arranged plants by the window, this store exudes heart. Final Thought This is not your average health food stop. It’s a place to wander, discover, and feel inspired to care for yourself. Whether you’re a wellness warrior or just getting curious about holistic living, this place makes it easy (and exciting) to choose better for your body and mind.
Trust me: once you go, you’ll want to tell everyone you know. I did. Run to this store. Your future self will...
Read moreThere are several components to this store, so ratings may not reflect all of the components. There is a lunchtime restaurant in the back that I have never eaten at because the pricing is too high. However, another reviewer found a bug in her tuna wrap, so for me that's a zero on that component. The groceries are incredibly pricey, but this "natural " market is the only ballgame in town so they can price gouge like they do. The quality of many of their groceries is sub par. I have seen flours and many other products sitting on their shelves well past their buy date. Check out their raisins. Their raisins are so old that they are literally dried out to the point of being hard. Look at their bulk foods dispensers. Many are dusty on the outside and the products contained within are so old that many are discolored. Now for the produce, that is where they really fail. They sell mushy tomatoes that are overripe and borderline rotting. The potatoes are " soft" and sprouting. You may find one to two items that are actually worthy of being called fresh produce, but that is rare. This place is so substandard and lax on what they sell, that even the ginger root has mold. I give up. I've tried to buy from here off and on hoping to catch something within it's " buy" date but it has gotten worse and worse.I will not go there any longer. Get this, I've reported the overripe produce and other issues to management over the year and nothing has improved. Boy do we need a Whole Foods closer than Altamonte Springs. This place is the pits, they know it, and they don't care. They're only...
Read moreDon't spend your money here!!!! The people lack compassion. I contacted DeLand Natural Market and asked them if I could swap some Dr. Bronner's soap (I have some soaps I purchased from them recently that are scented, and UNOPENED) I unfortunately don't have the receipt, due to a recent cancer diagnosis of my husband his oncologist suggested not using soaps that are scented.. so I asked the female that I spoke with about swapping the unopened bottles, she told me to hold when I asked if I could speak with a manager and see if we can look into the receipt through the card that was purchased so we can work together to get my husband a safe product to use. She came back to the conversation, and told me that if she makes an exception for me she needs to make an exception for everyone. It's pretty awful that they care so little as to not help me and my husband, I was not asking for a refund on a product, I asked for an exchange....
I am a fairly new customer with DeLand Natural Market and planned on buying all natural needs here. But that will not happen moving forward; I will make sure that people know what kind of people actually work...
