Yea they can just go out of business. 1st off if you are not running in for just 1 or 2 items you have to carry spare change so you can get a cart. I did not have a quarter or any cash to change for quarters and the management herself unapologetically shrugged her shoulders and basically said oh well "that's how they have it set up here". You are management you had like 2 shoppers in the whole store you could have helped a mom out today.. I had a baby in a baby car carrier my 2 year old in other hand and she did not feel in the slightest bit compassionate to loan me a cart. I attempted to do my shopping without the cart. Went to the meat section and the prices are out of this world I get inflation I know everywhere has went up prices are crazy but this is savealot ...more like spendalot. This is why walmart Amazon kroger and even aldi will finish off this store. The other location already went out of business and this one will soon follow. You can get way more beatable pruces and even delivered to your door....The store had loads of carts with product waiting to be put on shelves so its overwhelming walking through the store, the meat didn't look good either. They say you get what you pay for but this is outrageous prices for hormone and water pumped meat. Might as well pay the same price for better quality products somewhere else. It had been a long time since i went to a save alot this will...
Read moreThis store is generally my "go to" grocery store. As a discount type food store, you rarely find big "brand" named food items, however, their house brand food items are good. I save a LOT of money shopping here. The shelves are always well stocked .. their clerks are always keeping them filled. The same holds true for their meats and frozen foods. The manager is usually out in the store, helping customers and even stocking shelves too. They are always willing to help you WITHOUT an "attitude" as happens in some other stores. It does not have a Bakery Dept. or a Deli, but it does have prepackaged items in cold cases and freezer cases. It has a smallish Produce Dept. Personally, I like to shop here. Prices are good, quality of food is good, staff is cheerful and helpful, and this store is clean and well kept up. If you're not a "brand name only" shopper, you might like it too. FYI, their house brand frozen NY cheesecake is GREAT! I always get compliments on it when I take it to a "bring a...
Read moreJust like the name says, Save-A-Lot and I always do. Best prices on hams for my split pea soup $0.99 lb. I eat lots of salads at un beatable prices for all my garden needs. Lots of yogurt which means a fresh array of berries, same labels as the other stores but 25%-50% less and fresher because of brisk sales. Plenty of stock people if you can't find something. Bring your own grocery bags or buy their Lg. Bags $0.10 ea.
Would've given 5 stars but there always seems one register open or 2 when 3 or 4 would move you out faster. I try and do most my food shopping...
