Waffle House — Restaurant in Florida

Came in around 11:00 am the low counter was dirty and two booths dirty. There were 2 cooks and 4 others there. One other couple was waiting for a table. 15 min goes by tables still dirty. Now there’s about 8 customers waiting for seats. The 2 younger waitresses walked around looked like they were stoned!! They moved at a very slow pace taking one dish in each hand to the sink!! Seriously they did not care that customers were waiting! They Finally decided to finish cleaning the tables. We were seated at low counter. One booth still dirty and other booth taken by the couple ahead of us. The waitress Kara was seriously stoned or something. She finally took our order and then kept waiting to call it out kept asking cooks let me now when I can call it out…… cooks were chatting and working at a slower than usual pace….after another 5 or so minutes passed I asked can we get our drinks? She brought them over ice tea and a coke. The food was horrible the worst ever had from this Waffle House. The bacon was almost burnt I asked for a well hash brown it was so hard and dry basically burnt! She never brought my husband toast we had to ask twice. Finally another waitress brought it. Kara stood there staring at the tickets and on her phone. There were flies everywhere. The cooks were mean to the waitresses and when Xavier called the cooks who were in the back doing who knows what. He said no we have two orders waiting the one cook yelled great I am glad you can count and waited another 5 or so min before coming out. This was the worst...

I received awful Customer service on March 23. Upon arriving my daughter had to use the restroom. There was no toilet paper available. We were then notified that the manager forgot to leave some unlocked before he left. My daughter was given napkins from a table to use. The sweet tea was unsweetened and the waitress emphatically apologized stating that second shift was incompetent. We had 4 Allstar breakfasts were we waited 10 minutes for the meat to come. I observed the cook come from outside, not wash his hands, place gloves on and then cook our sausages. I was appalled and completely flabbergasted! The waitress was preoccupied, confused and incompetent. Honestly, I feel as if the entire staff with the exception of one waitress whose pregnant was either high or drunk! Also, we never got our waffles until walking out the door to leave. The experience was so awful. My husband actually walked out bc his grits were old and the rest of the meal was not how he ordered it. I asked numerous times to speak with a manager. I was told that there was no supervisor and that the manager was not answering his phone. Unacceptable and I will definitely be notifying corporate regarding the incompetence, unsafe food handling and awful Customer...

Came in today, 2/29/24. Upon being seated we waited for our server (the blonde one, not brunette) who then came to our table and just stood there. No conversation, no greeting, nothing. Finally after basically a stare down she asks what we would like. We ordered our food. Both drinks, both cheessteaks, no onions. And we wait. The entire time the food is cooking she never brings us our drinks. Her and the manager are chit chatting the entire time while she's just rolling silverware. She finally brings the food, still no drinks then finally realizes the mistake. She drops drinks, literally on the table and just walks away. We then discover both steaks, have onions. Frustrated and realizing we would get no where we ate the food while picking off the onions. So then we basically finish the meal before she comes back for the 1st refill check. She refills then disappears again just to appear, drop off check with out a word and then gone again. No smiles, no thank yous and a "have a nice day" from the other server. No eye contact or smiles or contact at all from the manager who walked past our empty table several times while our food was being cooked and talking back and forth across the restaurant.
