Probably one of the worst run Culver's in the area. We intentionally avoided stopping in during the first few months due to it being new to the area. We ordered food and it was reasonably made, for Culver's. Service was slow, but not unreasonable. After we had eaten the line was gone and we decided to order dessert. 20 minutes after ordering 3 small items we still didn't have our order. I went to the counter and asked where it was and noticed 2 of our 3 items sitting on the back line. The third wasn't made and was put together right then. The staff member gave me two, half melted items and the one that had just been done. I asked if the 2 items had been sitting there for the last 10 minutes and the response I got was "it's going to be a while if you want them remade". We weren't the only ones, however, as on our way out someone sitting next to us was going up to the counter to also see where their order was.
To the staff's credit they did come back around to our table with coupons for two free items. Given how the store is currently being run we probably won't be back anytime soon as there are better Culver's in the area.
Finally, this location doesn't recycle or compost like others. How is this even an option for a...
Read moreI had an amazing visit today! Being in the food industry for years, I can tell the difference when the new owner is present versus not. While the GM—a younger, less experienced manager—has struggled on previous visits, today stood out for all the right reasons.
The food was hot, fresh, and quick. We enjoyed a fish sandwich and butter burger baskets with custard. The service was exceptional, thanks to the owner’s hands-on approach. He welcomed us, checked on us, cleared our table, and sincerely thanked us for coming. It’s clear he truly cares about every customer’s experience.
While a few team members could show more engagement (like the young girl with long blonde hair who seems to lean a lot), today’s visit was outstanding. Culver’s, take note—this owner is a gem, and every location could use someone like him.
Sir, we wish you the best with your new restaurant and welcome to Delano, MN! May this year bring you all the success...
Read moreThey forget items from my order every single time & then want me to come back rather than giving a credit. It's pricey for fast food-be great if I could at least get the food I paid for. Today, they missed the drink & the sundae from a kids meal. I caught the missed drink (had to show the receipt to prove I had ordered one) & when I asked for a credit for the sundae since I was already at my destination, was told they can't do that. Additionally, every time I've ordered through the app, I have still wound up waiting at least 5 minutes once I get to the restaurant. Doesn't seem to save any time ordering this way.
Update 7/25: As far as the request from Culvers asking me to provide more info, I actually already did that before posting my review and the response was basically, "We work hard. Sorry you're unhappy." Not an incredibly...
