I stopped by Saturday evening around 7PM and the place was quite busy. There were college football games going on every TV. This is probably a great place to watch a game with friends. I was there alone and am not much of a sports fan. Overall, I prefer a more quiet atmosphere to enjoy my meals...that's me. The server was stellar! Very friendly, courteous and made sure I was taken care of. I ordered the battered walleye with a side salad. The fish was okay but the fish was rather lean so there was just as much batter as there was fish and was a little on the dry side. The salad was better than the fish. Overall the experience was good and I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a popular local sports bar type place.

Update 2024- showed up at 4:15 with a table of 8. Was turned down to be seated together in the bar area even though two tables were empty with 4 seats each sitting empty. Was told by hostess we couldn't sit there. Claimed "new" ownership and that the bar area was reserved seating.. We left and walked over to lucky's. Not a great experience. 5 stars for drinks and happy hour. One of the best in SF on a Friday. 4 stars for the queso that came with the Giant pretzel. Needed some sort of flavor added, green chilles or jalapeño, tasted like melted monterrey cheese. The mustard was better...which is sad. Could otherwise switch it to a nice beer cheese.

I haven't been into Krav'n in a few years so it was nice to go in and check it out again. We ordered the garlic parmesan chicken pizza and a Santa Fe salad. We should have asked for no olives as the salad had tons on olive slices which is good for people who like olives, unfortunately I am not one of them. The food came out much faster than we had expected but we liked it a lot. Our waitress was very attentive to us and we seemed to have gone in at the right time as it didn't seem to busy at 1pm on the weekend.

Always a favorite spot to stop for a quick bite! Until last week:( My husband, daughter and myself were so excited to have my parents in town visiting and chose k'RavN for dinner on Saturday the 19th. I was seated first while waiting for the rest to arrive. Our server came by and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I told him I was fine with water but asked what kind of N/A beers they offered (for my husband). The server had just told me the kind when my husband walked up. I asked him if that was what he wanted and my husband said "sure, I'll have one". 5 minutes later, a gentleman comes walking up with 2 /N/A beers. We explained only one was ordered and he happily took the other one away. 1 minute later, our waiter comes to the table angry as all get out asking WHY we sent one back and that we HAD ordered 2 and that his manager just reemed his ass for the wasted beer! WISH I WAS KIDDING. When we explained that only my husband had wanted one hence my response of "I'm fine with my water", he (I kid you NOT), rolled his eyes and shook his head and walked away....I waited for the manager who brought our drinks to walk by so that we could chat with him about the server but, never saw him again. Our server continued to walk by and scowl. We Honestly thought we were being punked it was so extremely obvious. You can imagine how awkward the rest of the dinner went. Fortunately as always, the food was excellent. My parents enjoyed it as well. However, it definitely won't be a place we dine every other week anymore. I wish I could remember the servers name. I think it may have been...

Food was good, but the staff was unprofessional and disrespectful. Our waitress brought out appetizers to our table that we did not order. Some of the food was left at our table. Our main course came out with boneless wing instead of traditional wings. The manager came over asked if there was something they could help with. We nicely explained what had been happening and she asked if there was anything that she could get us right away asked for a refill on our water and diet coke, the manager never came back with that. Later another order of food appeared at our table that we did not order, kindly informed our waitress. Dinner was over asked for our bill and it had the meal we didn't order and the appetizers on our bill. The waitress informed us that we needed to pay for our bill, we asked to have the food we did not order removed from the ticket. We explained again that this wasn't food we ordered. The manager said we kept complaining so she called the owner and the owner asked us to pay our full bill. We refused to pay for the food we did not order. The manager communicated that back to the owner over the phone and then we were asked to pay all of the bill again or half of the bill and leave the premises. Needless to say we paid half of our bill and left. We will never be returning again. VERY disappointed in how our meal was handled. We were there the weekend before for our family members surprise birthday party and...

Bartender rude. When some guy asked what time they close he said he’ll close early if there’s nobody there. He explained he had a baby at home (June 2019) to get home to. This was probably at least 2 hours before closing. Kinda made me feel like people there were holding him up from getting off early, esp baby and all. Asked a question about a game on the big screen. He said he “doesn’t follow sports.” There are multiple TVs all turned to sports channels and the male bartender rudely says he doesn’t follow sports? Could’ve said he didn’t know and brushed me off that way. But don’t lie as if I’m stupid. Or say he doesn’t follow baseball. When I wanted to pay my tab he had his back to me doing his closing duties. Customers come first and why is he closing up 2 hours before close? At the very least, I would expect that he would check the bar behind him every couple of minutes, but he didn’t and had to finish his task first. Maybe he’s a jerk or maybe he thought he knew me and didn’t like me, idk, but seriously, pour beer and suck it up. I shouldn’t know if he follows sports or has any kids or anything about his personal life. I’m sure it’s fine with the owner if he closes early when it’s slow, but I doubt it if the owner appreciates him contributing to making it slow. The only stars are given for good food I’ve bad previously and good experiences with other bartenders...
