Since this place just opened, I had to try it. Upon walking in, it's nice. Pool tables, darts and tons or TVs. That's where any good things stopped.
After about 15 mins, the bartender finally came over and we ordered 3 Margaritas. When he brings them back, I'm not even joking when I say they were in those super tiny plastic cups. Like 4 or 6 Oz cups. I literally took 3 sips through the straw and it was empty. $5 a pop for those. Not even strong either.
The food prices are way, way too high. Almost felt like I was back in Vegas. Someone needs to tell the owner it's Sioux Falls, not Vegas or L.A. Three of us ordered wings, chislic basket, nachos and 6 of those tiny little drinks and the bill was $125 with a tip. Just so outrageous. They charge $20 for wings when it should be more like $12. They also served me shredded carrots. Like how am I supposed to dip those in blue cheese, geniuses. Also, my celery was old and gross. Flimsy has flimsy can be.
Bottom line, after most locals eat here once, 90% won't come back. I'd expect this place to be out of business in less than 24 months. I've already warned my friends not to come near this place. Plenty of cheaper bars with much better drinks and food. Better service too..How I wish I would have taken photos, but it was so bad, I didn't bother..and I take photos of everything... place is...
Read moreThis place is a nice addition to the south side of Sioux Falls. The interior is amazing, lots of open space, well lit. Reason for the 4/5 is due to Luckys prices. The DT location has always been expensive for drinks and it appears this location will follow suit. Went for lunch and had the chicken strip basket and 2 white claws and it was $30 dollars pre tip. This will be a place to pop in and have 1 or 2 drinks but to spend an entire evening here would be costly, like the DT location is. It's pretty hard to beat Liebrary for south side bars as they run a happy hour most of the time and a drink is only like $2.50. Happy Luckys has a spot on this side of town now and its an option for us but its going to be an "in the moment" decision to stop here as the prices are just TOO high to spend an entire evening or...
Read moreMe and some boys from West Pukwana decided to come up and give this place a try.
Jonah and Kyla on staff made us feel right at home as we settled in at the Casino. They have plenty of games and even offer drinks while playing! Exceptional service for a Casino area within a bar!
Later we tried the food menu and were delighted with Kyla's suggestion to try the Bavarian Pretzel and famous hydrophobic cheese! (The cheese is a secret menu item)
We finished the night out with some darts and even offered Jonah a celebrity shot during our turn because of our great experience! (He missed his throw)
Great bar, awesome amenities. I will be back again. It's a fantastic addition to the south side of...
