Worst dining experience I've ever had tonight. We got there and everything was going great until we tried to request a pizza order, which I couldn't from the 5 employee cluster of ppeople at the front just talking and making crud remarks about the person waiting in line behind me. We also tried to politely ask for the music to be turned down a little bit (my family has asked the same thing in previous visits to this pizza ranch and we're always greated with really polite responces.) Instead, we got a shrug and no answer. So we decided to go eat in the room thats off to the side-there wasn't any reserved sign on the doors so we sat down to try and finish our meal we just started with an optimistic mind. Instead we got what seemed to be a manager gal yelling at a couple younger employees to clean the room for her party and the two younger gals staring at us and not responding even when we tried to address them-sonce we were getting stared down only a couple tables away. They then started vacuuming with both sets of doors closed with two vacuums going for about 10 minutes, then leaving only after yelling to each other multiple times. We had someone come by to our table and ask if we were enjoying our time-while the vacuums were going- but didnt stay for even a few seconds for me to tell them that no, we aren't, just walked away fast. When we were in the middle of our dinner we had a gal constantly coming up to us nitpicking any little thing off our table in efforts to get us to leave. When we were leaving, another manager gentleman was making rude faces at us while leaning out on one of the kitchen door windows. I'm in shock at how quickly our meal turned downhill. We can't even say the food was good because we had to request for fresh food a few times with it still being spongey. I hope the workers get better training because this was rediculious-especially sonce we've come to this pizza ranch for years and have always loved it. Not once did a person come up to us and just simply tell us what they were doing in...
Read moreMy entire family has supported Pizza Ranch(Sioux Falls and Tea) religiously for pretty much my whole life. I needed extra employment on top of what I was already doing and delivering pizza aligned with that. False promises of hours quickly led to them sending me home within 1.5 hours of my shift starting. No biggie except I would drive close to 15-20 mile per shift to and from. Instead of taking breaks within an hour of my shift starting, I told the owners I don't need one and I can keep working whether you pay me or not which they approved. On my last official day of working, I was cornered by about 6 of their staff. Most screaming at me due to the shift leader on duty arguing with me in which she was trying to get me to take a break. I defended myself which led to me going home early that day after a call was made to the owners who were not present. The owners thereafter ignored me for about a week so I resigned with no contact ever being made from them again. Outside of this outrageous experience, the morale was absolutely pathetic. I will say however when it came down to getting the job down during rush hours, the team always out their heads together. There is a reason this store gets perfect scores. Anyways, the vans had visible signs of rats being in them when I was hired which was immediately brought to the owners attention. I thereafter took it upon myself with owners approval to detail every van because that of course wasn't getting done whatsoever. Lastly, this is just my opinion(people can run their business how they please) but I found it absolutely pathetic how they would charge employees to eat food going directly into the trash. And on top of it would gatekeep the amount you could take for $5. Just pathetic. Thanks for the learning experience. 😁 Edited Spoke with Mike...
Read moreWe were in a hotel in the area because our truck broke down and called because they had an ad in the hotel. Big mistake.
Firstly when we placed the order we gave them the info for what hotel and room number we were in. They said when the driver got here they would call us so we could meet them in the lobby. Ok. No biggie.
Make the order. Total over $60. Told it would be about 45 minutes.
After an hour we called to get an update, and were told that the order was for pickup. There's no way we would ask for carry out when we don't have a way to get there. He said they'd send it right away.
After a half hour of sitting in the hotel lobby waiting for the delivery car, he pulled in, and I watched the delivery driver sit in the car and play on his phone. I walked out and right up to the car in the parking lot to collect my food.
The chicken was decent, but over cooked and dry. The pizza was very small for the price. Like 10" keep in mind we paid over $69 for this. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good but truly nothing to write home about.
Very disappointing experience...
