Bawarchi Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Delaware

If I could leave a NEGATIVE FIVE stars I would. I ordered online and went into the restaurant to pick up the order for my daughter. I’m standing at the register for two minutes while the woman and her husband are behind the counter, ignoring me. I said hello and told them my name and I ordered online. They ignore me. As I’m standing there one Indian gentleman came in after me and then people lean around me to ask him for his name and pulled his order and he paid while he was in the process of paying another. Indian gentleman walked in, and again I was ignored as they got the gentleman‘s name give him his order and they paid. I then provided them my name again the women rolled her eyes and walked away and I’m assuming was her husband got my food (Which was sitting there the entire time) never saying a word to me. I put in my card and paid and left. It was the most ignorant display of customer service that I have ever experienced! I will never go there again or allow anyone in my family to eat there. They are rude disrespectful people who run it. The worst part was there daughter was standing there the entire time learning from her parents how to treat people. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS THEY DONT SHOW RESPECT OR EVEN COMMON COURTESY!! I will post on every social media about this...

UPDATE: Tried couple of other items, chicken 65 and chicken chettinad, they were decently ok. I changed the 4 star to 3 star because I have ordered the pepper lamb from here, may be 3 or 4 times by now because I loved it the first time however I never got the same taste or flavor after that. Now it just feels like a somewhat OKish goat curry labeled as pepper lamb, After trying multiple times and consistently being disappointed, now I stopped ordering pepper lamb from here forever 🛑😓.

This is my first time here. I ordered food delivery for chicken dum biriyani and pepper lamb, OMG it was so spicy and delicious 😋. I am completely satisfied with the lamb curry and biriyani was also good, not too good but satisfactory. I am saying this because I have had authentic biriyanis from other restaurants which was slightly more tastier also some more flavorful chicken with thick coated gravy on chicken... But, good quantity for the price. I think anybody who loves spicy flavorful food will definitely love this one right here 👇🏻❤️. I enjoyed really well. Try out soon guys!

Actually, I think they were ok until recently. But like many others said the cleanliness and ambiance sucks which they can improve ! I have said to myself I wouldn't go to these people anymore (not for the cleanliness part) but for their being dishonest and lairs. There was something that they said is free, I think the pudding. When I went there they packed my order in a plastic bag and tied the knot.(which they usually don't do generally). I paid them the bill and also tip coz I felt that they must be given tip. I asked the guy if they had everything that I have ordered for. when I came home and saw the items there were missing actual order and the pudding. They would have said they don't have it and been honest when I asked them. May be I should have opened the bag and seen it (we usually trust and didn't do it) I was furious not coz I lost. But at the blunt callous attitude the guy had. And they are taken people for granted. Which isn't good. I would never ever go to a place where people are dishonest. They lost the credibility.!you lost ...
