I was grateful they were opened on New Year’s Day as we had company and wanted bagels. I live in pike creek so it was a 20 minute drive one way. Arrived and they offer a bakers dozen bagels with two tubs of cream cheese for $22.99. It was a deal and usually cream cheese tubs are $4.99. I asked about the lox cream cheese which was in a private labeled container as opposed to the others which were prepackaged and labeled. The nice lady didn’t know if it was more and needed to check. Turned out it was $2 extra. Not a big deal however it didn’t show on menu and cream cheese had a different price. I paid it since I wanted that. The bagels were good. Some better than others and my daughter liked the jalapeño everything which you don’t see everyday. At least it was real bits of the peppers. Not bad service though I needed to wait while she checked prices which was strange. Enjoyed the items enough. Froze some and defrosted two this morning and they held up and were decent second day!

This is a cozy local shop that I have been visiting for years. Their bagels are Manhattan Bagel great and up until the last couple years their Bagels breakfast sandwiches were the best around. My last several visits have been somewhat disappointing. The ingredient that prompts me to order this breakfast sandwich (and arguably the least expensive), Egg, has been lacking. I guess maybe they are feeling the economic times as all are. This visit I even mentioned that I had been visiting less often than I had for years because I would rather pay more and get a decent sandwich. Despite this comment/request the egg is a challenge to find in their egg 🥚🍳 breakfast sandwich lately. Ah well I tried to give them a chance and even offered to pay more but I guess it may be time to move on.

Who knew Manhattan Bagel had a cheesesteak? Who knew it would NOT be on a bagel? Who knew it would come with potato salad and a pickle? Who knew it would be tasty? Due to circumstances beyond my control I ended up at Manhattan Bagel. I am glad I did. This was a tasty little cheesesteak. $6.99 and it came with a potato salad and a pickle. I wish there was more of everything. Except the pickle, that was a good size. Good overall experience.

I'm not sure exactly what happened to this particular franchise. I can definitely tell you that their bagels taste NOTHING like 99 % of the Manhattan Bagel franchises in the U.S. that I've been to.I have been to several here on the east coast and they are all very tasty except for this Concord Pike location. Not very good product. You can go to your local BJ's big box store and get a MUCH better bagel made on the premises that totally blows this Rt.202 business away! That's right BJ'S!... Panera Bread makes a very good bagel. I'm sorry but I've been to the 202 location several times hoping that they get better.....and they don't ☹️. I will never drive from Newark again to chance a consistently poor operation and bagel that is supposed to be very good. ( And normally they are at other locations). Good luck...need new management and some of that nice...
