Weâve traveled down the entire East Coast and have probably stopped at over 30 different Dunkinâ locationsâbecause we genuinely love you!
However, this particular Dunkinâ was, without question, the worst experience weâve had at any location in the country. Bad enough that I felt compelled to track it down and leave this review.
My order was very simple, yet it was taken incorrectly five separate times. I eventually stopped asking for corrections because the drive-thru staff clearly couldnât handle the order we had already placed. When we finally pulled up to the window, the woman attempted to hand me two completely incorrect drinks. When I said, âOh, those must not be ours,â her response was: âI didnât take your order, how would I know?â Excuse me?
Fast food 101: if youâre handing something out a window, you should read the screen or ask, not just pass it off and get defensive when corrected. A simple âThanks for the heads upâ wouldâve gone a long way.
Instead, we waited 20 minutes. No apology. No âplease pull ahead.â Nothing. When I finally asked for our two donuts and some straws, I was snapped at and told, âPlease be patient,â with one of the nastiest, most disrespectful tones Iâve ever encounteredâdespite the fact that I was being incredibly patient.
Both employeesâthe older woman and the one with long, slicked-back hairâwere rude, unprofessional, and clearly unhappy to be working. Sadly, it showed in everything they did. We ended up throwing away $46 worth of poorly made drinks and went to a different Dunkinâ just to salvage the experience.
This location seriously needs new staffâpeople with basic customer service skills, a willingness to do their job, and the maturity to not act like resentful teenagers.
Weâre New Yorkers. We donât need your life storyâwe just want coffee and service. Itâs not complicated. Other Dunkins do it right every day. This one? Absolutely...
   Read moreI was very happy the Dunkin Donuts opened here as I believe the coffee is superior to Starbucks. Unfortunately my first visit was almost my last. They had a minimal choice of donuts at 9:00am and even worse, when I took my first sip of coffee it spilled all over me because the lid wasn't on all the way even though I always check before leaving. I called about it when I got home, soaked with hot coffee and needing to clean my car as well, and was told they were aware of the "defective lids". A few months go by and I decide to try again. My husband and I have been here almost every day for the past week, and it's been so relaxing to get away from home and get some work done. The dining room & bathrooms are both kept clean. What my husband and I appreciate most is watching their Team work while we are working. It's amazing! They are definitely a well-oiled machine here.
