I’d like to mention this is our second time here. (Months in between the 2 visits).
The food is DISGUSTING. I thought maybe the first time they just had an off day. So, we tried once more due to the parking lot always over capacity. With this said- this restaurant is frequented by a specific population.
In addition to the food being disgusting, the service was terrible. A table was seated after us & the server took their order after ours. Would you believe that they got their food significantly prior to us. When we did get finally get our food, the potatoes were ICE COLD & my eggs had syrup all over them. (All 3 tables around us had cold freezing cold, rock hard breakfast potatoes l. My partner ordered apple juice with his $7.95 combo (drink included), we were told there would be an up charge, cool. Yet, when we received the check we were charged the FULL price of an apple juice. When mentioned prior to paying the server confirmed that the up charge was the full charge of $3.60 . (Rather than the up charge being a few cents to a dollars more).
The icing on the cake- they allowed a lady in with her dog and did absolutely nothing. So, that was disturbing. Needing to leave without drinking my flat ginger ale because of my allergies.
Management- please clean the dust and black mold from...
Read moreThis was probably the worst ran restaurant I’ve ever been to. First off all the waitresses and even the hostess had AirPods/Bluetooth devices on which is super unprofessional and pretty ridiculous looking. We also had the pleasure of sitting next to the kitchen and listening to all the workers talk about how they wanted to go home and so it wasn’t much of a surprise when our food came out looking disgusting. The scrapple was burnt to the point of not even being edible, the potatoes had absolutely no seasoning and some pieces were cooked and others weren’t, they couldn’t even make the toast right with half of the pieces of bread not being toasted at all. My omelette is the only reason I didn’t give this place one star as it was surprisingly good. That was quickly ruined with the experience of trying to pay for our meal and having to deal with a hostess who didn’t seem to want to work at all. She had her phone out with her Bluetooth headset in and wasn’t paying any attention at all to us standing there obviously trying to pay. I’m not entirely sure how this restaurant has 4.5 stars I guess Covid really ruined this place but I’m kind of just in awe with how bad that whole experience was. Save yourself the trouble and drive 5 minutes further down 40 to...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Three of us went to breakfast, Jennifer the waitress said one menu to a table, then promptly ask what I wanted to drink, I explained that I have to wait for my turn for the menu.
Two of us order eggs over medium. They were basically hard boiled. Jennifer came by and asked how everything was. My twin told her the eggs were over done.
Her answer was, and I Quote, All the cook are new and and none of them knows what they're doing, and we are so busy, we don't care if customers come back. I actually said, did you really just say that. No apology, no, can I get you a replacement, or something else.
Considering the cost of everything these days, I don't want to hear b* excuses. And I definitely don't want to hear from a waitress we don't care whether you come back or not. She actually said the owners said that exact statement.
Used to be a nice place. That is our last time going there. So Jennifer...
