Karibbean Delight 2 — Restaurant in Delaware

Saturday 10/8 during lunch I came to order a LG oxtail with rice and peas the platter came to $21 even. The portion was hefty and the food was good. I came in again today for lunch and got the exact same platter with 2 sodas and it came to $26 even. The portion was literally half of what I recieved less than a week ago and I paid more money. The oxtails had a sweet taste to them and they had more fat than anything with a ton of onions in my platter. I was not satisfied at all. I go to check my account and I was charged $29.90 ! After looking at the receipt I found out I was charged for a %15 tip of $3.90 I never agreed to give. I went back down to the store and showed the guy the mistake. He tells me to wait til the end of the night because it was the machines fault Instead of apologizing and or just giving me the $3.90 back he insists I come in the next day. I use my card with resturaunts frequently and never have i been charged a tip and told it's the machines fault. I would be ok with an apology and him admitting it was a human error instead I got excuses. I've spent about $60 within the last 4 days with them. I have had the worst experience at a place where I have enjoyed over the years. I ordered a small oxtail plate. I was eating the food and enjoying my oxtail until the last couple of bites and enjoying the gravy to discover two pieces of plastic in the food. Specifically, during Covid the Owners attitude specifically the wife was horrible she was vary evasive when asked her name and she would only give her first name..They were very nonchalant and neither husband or wife were wearing a mask in the restaurant. No remedy suggested to assure the public safety because as the Male Owner stated that is a conversation that he will have with the staff. His response is the plastic probably was there when the oxtail was cut up.. That it is human err and that they could not guarantee that it wouldn't happen again. Offering me a free platter next time....People have no clue and such a disregard for life and...

• UPDATE BELOW Don’t order food with them through Uber eats. They call me EVERY time about the prices, then they also have listed that they sell fruits drinks. You select that on Uber eats they call saying they don’t know what kind of drink I’m asking for. The store staff or restaurant that is partners with UBER EATS should get the prices right through the APP! It’s annoying receiving a call from the delivery person about y’all prices. This is literally the 3rd time.
