Kohr Bros — Restaurant in Delaware

Post COVID report:

Masks - Workers using masks, but not correctly, leaving them down below their nose. People in line not asked to wear masks, so the line has very few masks. People are allowed to approach the counter without masks.

Social distancing - non existent. People in line are on top of eachother. No markings on the ground to direct traffic and help with 6 ft. Traffic is forced up the stairs and back down the same stairs instead of an enter/exit strategy off the other side of the ramp.

Cleanliness - the workers are wearing gloves which they are not changing between making ice cream and handling money. The gloves may protect the workers, but they are endangering the customers by being used on money and machines and food.

We used to enjoy going to this Kohr Bros location as a wind down activity at night, but it is off the list until COVID goes away or they figure out a way to keep customers safe. No ice cream is good enough for...

We came here on Thursday night 8/4 and were really disappointed. We waited in a long line out to the road just to get up to the counter to order and were told there was no vanilla, orange, or vanilla/orange twist. We understand that they can run out because they’re a very busy and populated ice cream spot. But the other window you could order from had the vanilla and orange. And the blonde girl at the counter didn’t even offer for us to order from the other side or get it for us from the other side. It was a pretty weird interaction with her and we felt like she had an attitude towards us from the start. Food Allergies BEWARE!!! Took my children here a few nights ago. We chose this restaurant because my daughter has a peanut allergy and we have always done soft serve to minimize the risk. My five year old daughter asked for sprinkles in her chocolate and vanilla twist cone, so I asked th clerk to please use sprinkles that had not been used in the container to dip all other ice creams in since this location was serving peanut butter. She got the manager and I was then told they were only willing to serve us vanilla plain in a cup. Never before have we encountered an establishment that was not willing to take one extra step let alone refuse to serve us what we asked for. Never again... go to the candy kitchen next door.
