Indigo Octopus — Local services in Fenwick Island

Received an online order that consisted of two Lack of Colours hats. The hats came in - in very beat up packing, including being open on the sides. The hats inside were crushed together (one being a straw hat and one being a felt). The hats had absolutely not protection placed around them and whoever had to pack them had to be feeling pretty lazy to ever pack up (even at half off) very expensive hats that way. I contacted the store regarding the horrible packaging- seeing that my order could not be exchanged or returned, which whoever packed the order made sure the write in bright red on the receipt. When i reaches out - the response was astonishing: (see below)

We can definitely help you get your hats back into shape! To flatten the brim on the hats, a heavy book overnight usually does the trick. With the celestial style, you may be able to flatten the brim out again with an iron on a low setting but we would not advise that for the straw style.

... so this store basically sent me damaged goods at this point and then tells me how to fix them? I did not pay this type of money to be told how to fix BRAND NEW hats. While i did not ask for a credit or anything in return, to provide nothing but assistance on how I (the buyer) am to fix my newly purchased hats.
