Well, I liked the food and the employees seemed friendly but about a week ago I tried to place an order using the app. For some reason it had a problem with my credit card. I tried others but the problem was the same. I then purchased a gift certificate and tried to use that on their website but when it came time to purchasing my order, even though their website has a spot where you can enter the gift certificate information, apparently they no longer accept them online. And it's not a tangible gift certificate that I purchased. Except, they don't tell you that they no longer accept gift cards via their website. And they have done nothing to fix it and don't seem to care, either. And when I contacted corporate they replied back that it was my own fault because the fine print says no refunds. They never addressed the credit card issue. It bothers me when customer service is so bad they that basically tell a customer who is literally begging to purchase their services that they don't matter and to basically go eff themselves. So they've lost a customer for life because it's not okay to treat people like this. At the very least, have enough respect for your customers that you fix your site so that people don't waste their money trying to use a gift certificate, it's misleading...
Read moreI have tried to talk to the company and email them before posting a negative review. It's been over 2 weeks and I still haven't heard anything. When we walked in it was an hour before closing. Employees were not wearing a mask and eating their food in the food prep area. This is not sanitary! We were the only customers. It took over 20 min to order two burritos and a cheese quesadilla. They didn't have tofu and weren't willing to make more. They didn't have the shells for a stack. Orders were coming through for pick up and the staff was very stressed even though there was at least 4 people working. The food was all gross and bad. They didn't have any salsa. The employee that made my burrito was rude. The soda machine wasn't working and they were out of syrup for multiple selections even diet coke. I understand it was towards the end of the night, but you work at a high traffic beach location. You can't close down everything before closing. You also can not eat where food is being prepared. I just wanted to get out of there since I knew that weren't wearing...
Read moreTried for first time an hour ago, and it will also be our last. Dirty dining area- tables all dirty, needed cleaning. Doors on cabinets under sodas broken, hanging off... accident waiting to happen. As for the food? Chicken, beef, pork all cold, as in refrigerator cold... Beans and rice also cold. I ate only a few bites, my friend ate most of his lunch. Saw employee fill up steam table with COLD water out of spigot... no wonder. Watched employee take cold pork out of fridge, put on grill for LESS THAN 15 SECONDS, then another employee sweep it up off the grill into the cold steam pan. No way that food is kept at proper food handling holding temp of min 135 degrees. Health dept needs to visit this place! Stay away from Moe's if you don't want to risk getting sick. EDITED TO ADD we BOTH got sick from the food we ate there within 2 hours....
