Smok'd BBQ — Restaurant in Delaware

My son is working in the area and stopped at the restaurant for take out lunch. My son said it was very nice inside and the two guys were very nice and helpful. We eat BBQ anything in our home frequently. Last night we had shredded bbq chicken. But this food was so tasty and filling!! My son brought home a brisket cheesesteak and brisket cheese fries. Oh my goodness, can I bathe in the sauce?? It was smoky at first, real smoke not fake. And then it was sweet and zesty, and I could tell which herbs and spices were used. It was a very balanced sauce and we poured it over everything. And then, the one steak, cut in thirds and the fries, split 3 ways, fed 3 hungry adults. Who now are napping from bbq comas, lol! This is well worth the price. If you are put off by the price, bring a family member or friend to split the bill with you because the portions are super generous! I have taken my family to every other bbq place around and it is so expensive and it barely fills you, unless you get so many sides and spend all kinds of money. Here, cheese steak and fries were enough. And the brisket is tender and moist, quite unlike the dried out offerings that I have has elsewhere that were the doused with a sickly sweet ketchup. What an absolute gem. I truly enjoyed my meal. The owners are a beautiful couple who've opened this location about a month ago.

I tried most of the sides, since I'm pescetarian. And couldn't try the barbecue meat items. Now I did ask the customers, who were returning. And the brisket appeared to be a popular item.

I ordered the Mac and Cheese, Red beans and rice, Fries and cornbread. The Mac and cheese was absolutely phenomenal. It was fresh and baked. It was made with care. The beans and rice were great, it was a tomato base and gave elements to a Cajun style. The cornbread was delicious, moist and very flavourful. The fries were essentially fries, wasn't anything 'spectacular' but good portion.

I would like to preface, this place is fast-casual and your food is made to order. Make sure you call prior or if dining-in anticipate at least 16-20min wait. They're gaining some traction. Best BBQ around! Truly deserves 5 stars. I rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled to let others know about some awesome food @ a reasonable price point managed by super friendly owners. More people need to know about this place.

The Carnivor is a generous amount, enough for 4-5 people, which is the perfect price point @ ~$13.75 - $11 per person. You can't beat it, esp for the variety.

Bark on the ribs is to die for, and the pulled pork was tender & juicy. I'm not big on brisket, but it was melt in your mouth delicious. Collard greens are a mystery dish for me, but it was the best I've had. Normally, it's like coleslaw for me - just kind of there, but with the smoked turkey bits mixed in, yo, I crushed the whole container.
