Horrible management. I frequent this establishment frequently, almost weekly. Never had a problem. Today they accused my mother of a thief. Unprofessional management response.
I asked my mom to pick up my mobile order and she waited inside the establishment for any employee to put a bag on the mobile order section. After a couple of minutes, she reached out to a team member (I was on speaker phone as well) and they just told her it was already picked up. The cashier told her âMaâam thatâs not your orderâ with a condescending tone. I sent them a screenshot of my recent order for her to show, they were dismissing herâŚthe manager proceed to just tell her he doesnât have time for this because âEveryone just take what they wantâ. Then I screenshot my receipt and the pending payment on my bank for her to show the cashier as more proof. He just scoff and say âWell I guess you paidâ and then walks off just for a team member to be the one to actually apologize (Thank you young woman) and hand the order. The manager doesnât seem profesional enough to address a problem of this simple nature, and treated my mom like on a casual matter just for the fact that they were both Hispanic. My mom was a customer, and she just wanted to ask if my order was ready, not to be accused when they have seen her from the beginning that she didnât have or take anything.

   Read moreWent here today for lunch and ordered a 2 for 6 special and when they messed up the order I politely went in and asked them to correct the order. Young Spanish lady got an attitude and demanded the other food back and handed it to another girl with instructions to trash it and when I said to them that the food shouldnât be waisted because they are the ones that messed up the order and there was a homeless person outside begging for change and food, she proceeded to get more of an attitude and tell me the person lived on her same street and isnât homeless and that those people are fakes. I then tried to explain to her that she should have a more compassionate outlook and that not all people who claim to be homeless are fakes. Again, their error could have fed someone else rather than waisting the food. Never know who you are talking to and how that type of cold hearted attitude will effect your business. I will be posting about this encounter at this location and if it helps stop even one person from spending their money there I will feel vindicated. Itâs 2023 and food waist as well as our outlook toward less fortunate people is just as important as many other issues going on and not one single instance should be taken lightly. If it's not honoring some of the normal food upgrades that every Wendys in the state of delaware all honor, then it's the coupon acceptance or missing/inaccurate items in the bag. The female at the drive thru who claims to be a manager, literally held up the line tonight just to go back and forth with me about the survey coupon that is printed on the back of receipts. She swore that it's invalid because "you have to use it the next day" so she states. Then after I showed her the requirements and rules, she then said, "It's still not valid here, nope, nope". Welp, it clearly states you have 14 days to use it right on the coupon and you can redeem at any Wendy's location! Finally, she put it in the system but shook her head the entire time and had a really nasty attitude! You would of thought the $2 came out of her paycheck the way I was treated!
