woodside pizza — Restaurant in Delaware

Never had a issue with their delivery till today we waited about an hour went out to see if they were here yet they weren't and was about to call when my phone rang it was the manager I guess. He in quite a rude and accusatory tone said that his driver already been out that she knocked for ten minutes and then honked the horn. she was here cause we found muddy ruts in our grass were she drove in our yard but she certainly didn't knock for 10 minutes or honk the horn considering my mother room is right by the door and her window is open . At first he said we will keep it warm for you if you want to pick it up I said no if you're not gonna deliver it then I need you to refund my he scooted as if it was ridiculous to want your money back when you hadn't received the merchandise. Then changed his approach and said I'll have it delivered but you're going to have to compensate my driver of you want her to come out and give you the food. He was also suggesting that if we didn't agree to pay extra he wasn't going to give us the food we had already paid for. Up till today I quite like Luigi's other than having to specify I didn't want the food over cooked/burnt every time I ordered. Cause when I didn't the food was often so overcooked it was inedible the burgers would be charcoal and i couldn't bite through pizza crust we would have to scrape the toppings off and eat just toppings. Oh and when the food finally got to my home it was cold. This restaurant is by far the most dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever been in!!!! There were bugs dead everywhere it was about 90 degrees in there with flies. I’ve been in there twice both times the same boy was working and both times he was in the bathroom when I walked in. He did NOT wash his hands when he made my pizza or when he used the bathroom. I went in the bathroom right after him and the sink was bone dry and not one customer in there so I know he did not wash his hands. I knew this after the fact my pizza was made. Not too mention lacking seriously in friendliness. He seemed annoyed that I even came in there. I will say one good thing tho. The pizza was phenomenal it was excellent!! Just a shame the place is so disgusting inside. I will not return. Sadly...because it was actually good food.

—-to add to your rude response there was NO ONE in the store at all and he absolutely did NOT wash his hands why would I make this up? Your restaurant is soooo disgusting and that’s a very professional friendly way to handle a comment to a customer. I also added the food was good but I was called crazy and everything else. Call a customer crazy? Seriously? Real real good customer service you got going on there! Solid take out pizza, subs, salads, dinners. You can actually outsource your entire evening in the kitchen with a phone order and a stop to pick it up. Familiar comfort food with a very slight edge. Bacon cheese fries that chain stores wish they could serve, even in casual dining appetizers from Luigi's are competitive and if you don't see it you can always hit them on fb and make a request. Catering is something they can help you with at your next conference or workshop. Pizza oven is a competent old school device run by skilled bakers, the turnovers and calzones are first rate East Coast classics. Grill work is unusually tight for a pizza place. Burgers are done right by themselves, on subs, or the classic local favorite bacon egg and burger the oinkenclucken. In fact you can get bacon or no meat at all on just about anything you like. Chicken subs as well. A range of pizza options and toppings you won't find everywhere. Seating is very limited and in nice weather you might find hardcore fans dining Al Fresco standing room only style outside. While the menu doesn't try to be all things to all people it hard not to find something for almost anyone.
