Ok so IDK what’s up with the lady that I got served on 4/11, but she was rude, disrespectful and had an attitude. Here’s how it goes, when we first got to the parking we got dirty looks from the employees as soon as we arrived, like they were upset that they had customers? Like you signed up for this job, sorry. Then when our server comes to the table asking what drinks we wanted, we all said individually that we want led water, then she got an attitude and told us that we should have said “Water all the way around,” like sorry we didn’t know what drink everyone was getting. Then as we was eating we started playing patriotic music (The Star Spangled Banner) with tokens to play music in the restaurant our server threatened us to stop playing the music or she would turn it off, then she goes to another table complaining to the other customers about the music we were playing at the restaurant like it was that big of a deal, at first she was joking about the music before like she was ok with it, but then she tried to act rude and impolite to us about the music and that we should stop playing, like you’re working at a restaurant you shouldn’t be: getting and attitude with customers, talking and complaining to other customers about different customers doing something little, nor being rude about the whole thing anyway. Sorry that not everyone thinks the same as you, it’s not a requirement and if you don’t like what someone else believes in then don’t complain about it while at work, I Serve this country because I’m a respectful person to the soldiers who risk their lives to save this country🇺🇸, don’t get upset or offended over music, if that’s the case then you shouldn’t have a customer service job, sorry not sorry, I will not be coming back to this location, I wish you...
Read moreUPDATE: 6/28/23 the one consistent complaint I have is the fact that they always have lumpy grits. I’ve been going to waffle house for over 40 years and they’ve always served lumpy grits.😒 It’s SOOOO easy to make grits without lumps yet that’s never the case at WH. 🙄 UPDATE: 4/14/23 What a disappointment!!! I arrived at 10 o’clock in the morning and the restaurant was pretty busy. I ordered a pecan waffle, (extra crispy), bacon, scrambled eggs, dry toast, and grits. The waffle was terribly soft, the toast was barely toasted, the grits were so thick and lumpy that I could barely stir them, and one end of the three bacon strips was half cooked.🤢 I was starving so I ate a few bites of everything, but it grossed me out so I paid my ticket, tipped the server, and left without saying a word. What’s the point of complaining in restaurants these days/post Covid? This is the reality of eating out now. It always seems to be hit or miss.
Last year: 5 STARS, all the way!!! Servers were excellent, cook was awesome by preparing fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious food. And, the restaurant was very clean (at 7am on a Sunday morning)! Thank you! BTW, my husband is 68 years old and a Waffle House fanatic.😍 He says this is THE BEST location he’s ever eaten at, in any city, and any state, and he’s eaten at MANY MANY Waffle House restaurants over the past 50...
Read moreWe recently visited Waffle House #2190 in Cincinnati, and everything about our experience exceeded expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for—lively, friendly, and full of that classic Waffle House charm.
A special shout-out goes to Laura, whose customer service was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive without being overbearing, incredibly friendly, and made us feel right at home. It's rare to find someone who clearly enjoys what they do and takes pride in making guests feel valued (even out-of-towners from Portland, Oregon like us)—Laura absolutely did that.
The food? Spot on. Everything was cooked perfectly and just as we ordered. It was exactly what we came for—no surprises, just good food that hit the spot.
If you're in Cincinnati and craving Waffle House, #2190 is the one to go to. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food—everything we hoped our...
