I've been with PNC Bank for just about 26 year's. They closed my business and personal account with almost no warning. I called thinking surely this had to be a mistake, but the corporate office confirmed that this was not a mistake. Do not bank with these people. The branch people are wonderful was on a first name basis with almost every single one of them. But the corporate office doesn't care about you as a customer. I think just closing someone's account with next to no notice should be illegal. I'll be checking on that. I spoke with the people at the branch and they were in shock that my account was closed like this. Lol they were trying to get me to apply for 100,000 credit line extension with them. Unbeknownst to me this process was completed. So having been in the banking industry I called to get clarification about what the timeframe is and why we can’t get our money. I was treated with a snotty attitude and condescension by a branch manager named Adrian who was intensely rude and wouldn’t answer my question until I started to yell. To have to be escalated to that point, for me, on a Monday morning takes quite a bit of baiting. You need to let people know before they put money on their account it takes days to process.
