New York Grill 2 — Restaurant in Dellwood

I got to tell you I went to the West Florissant location Wednesday night and got the Chicken philly with fries. It was awesome! It was delicious and i was disappointed in myself for driving by so many times and never stopping to try it. If i had never gone back, just on that experience I would have rated it 5 stars. So the next day, my wife and I went to my son's recital and decided to pick up some food on the way home to watch the rest of the Rams - Tampa Bay game. OMG! The food was horrible. I couldn't believe it. This could not have been the same place i just left yesterday evening. I had the 3 piece Tilapia w/fries and my wife had the 15 piece NY style wings w/ fries. My wife was some what satisfied but not blown away. The fish was like eating chewy cardboard. Fried hard and No meat what so ever. I was tempted to take it back but was just so frustrated I just ate the fries and ended up throwing most of the fish away. I was so mad and disappointed after having a great experience the night before. I'm a chef and let me tell you, there is nothing worse than being excited about a meal and then disappointed once you open it. It really put me in a bad mood the rest of the evening. Because I had a good experience one night and a bad one the next. I won't say I'm never going again. I may go one more time and that experience will be my deal breaker.... Don't get that tilapia...

This was my first and last time wasting my money on garbage food and bad attitudes. I called and placed an order of two T-bone steak dinner with no side salad and grilled chicken breast dinner. The female quoted a price of over $52. We questioned the prices based of their website and was told it was incorrect and prices had increased. Out of curiosity I called back and questioned the first price quoted. The order came up to 38.12 after I asked how much each item was with tax. Being that I am in a wheelchair I paid someone to pick it up for me. I opened up the container and discovered ribeye steaks that were well one in which one was burnt and dried out baked potatoes. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with the manager who insisted it was not their mistake but that of the cook. She told me that I had to bring it back even after I told her that I was in a wheelchair and had paid to have someone go get it for me. She insisted there was nothing left for them to do despite knowing that a mistake was made on the restaurant as a whole. Her partying words were sorry but cook mistake. How are you a manager and can’t resolve the issue and make the customer whole but blame it on a employee under your leadership. I think their policies are setup assuming everyone is a liar, cheater, and get over artist. NEVER EVER WILL I SPEND A BENT AND CALCIFIED PENNY WITH...

I’ve had there T bone steak dinner which is always cooked as I’d like medium well. I love the flavor and it comes with a potato baked and garlic bread Texas toast. The salad is not bad as well but not my favorite so I usually order the meal without it.

The burgers are basic but for the price and the nice amount of fries as the side it is very good.

Their boneless wings are delicious specially because of the sauces they have. No lie I usually stick to buffalo sauce. Literally mild with a peppery bite.

The fried chicken wings are delicious and crispy.

The cheese fries are tasty.

The cheese cake was enjoyable as well.

Location: 3 The location is easily accessible but the parking lot is filled with ditches. There is minute litter on the ground from time to time. The inside is fairly clean in appearance.

Customer service: 4 Always very pleasant and quick with orders.

Normally it is 15 to 20 minutes for food to be freshly cooked so I always recommend calling in your order in advance. The drive through is only to pick up your orders not...
