Is a delightful gem that brings a slice of Parisian charm to the heart of the neighborhood. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The cozy and quaint atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or a leisurely afternoon treat.
The menu offers a wide variety of classic French pastries, from buttery croissants to delicate éclairs, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The croissants are particularly exceptional, with a perfect balance of flakiness and softness that practically melts in your mouth. Their selection of bread is equally impressive, offering everything from traditional baguettes to more unique options like olive and rosemary loaves.
In addition to the baked goods, Bakery also serves a range of savory options, including quiches and sandwiches. The ingredients are always fresh, and the flavors are well-balanced, making it a great spot for a light lunch. Their coffee and tea selection is also top-notch, complementing the pastries perfectly.
The staff at Bakery are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions about their offerings. The service is prompt and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience every time you visit.
The French Bakery is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality, authentic French baked goods. Whether you're looking for a delicious pastry to start your day or a charming spot to unwind with a cup of coffee, this bakery is sure to exceed your...
Read moreThis small cafe has a very small indoor and outdoor seating area. We stopped in for a sandwich, and the menus on line looked like they had good choices. The “menu” in the cafe is a visual sample of available sandwiches, approximately 6 choices, all on croissants or thick crusty bread. No substitutions are allowed (for example, I would have liked one of the sandwiches with Turkey instead of ham). One of the sandwiches was a breakfast style with an egg on a croissant, but it was pre-made and not served warm. It seems all the sandwiches are premade and ready for passing directly over the counter. The bag of chips for purchase are all kettle style with no lower calorie option. There were also only flavors such as salt and vinegar, BBQ, and others, but nothing plain. There were some limited cold options such as quinoa salad and other “prepared” salad options in a cold case for self-service. We did not choose a beverage, but it seems there was a menu for those. The parking was challenging - very small lot on either side of the cafe which is squeezed into a small space between two very busy roads. There is not much room to maneuver when all spots are filled. Exiting the lot was a bit scary as we had to turn left onto a one-way road and cars were speeding around kind of a blind turn just up from the restaurant driveway. We made the best of our visit, but we would not intentionally go...
Read moreTerrible. Had to microwave my own sandwich. I asked for a cinnamon roll, they ran out, I asked if they had anything similar, employee starts naming a bunch of things they don’t have right now. EVERY other person that came in after us while we were sitting down went to order something only to be disappointed & told they ran out or don’t have it right now. It’s cute inside but still somehow not a good atmosphere. Apparently you have to go super early if you want anything good. If you know your going to run out of certain things everyday, maybe start making more of that item... and if tons of people come in at 2Pm asking for certain things maybe start serving those all day... do you not want people’s money??? All they had was sandwiches at the time I was there and not a lot to choose from. If I wanted a sandwich a french bakery would not be my first choice. I won’t be returning. Doesn’t smell like a bakery in there because nothing is fresh or made to order, they only turn the ovens on in the mornings I guess. The fact that I had to microwave my own sandwich makes me laugh out loud. They have a microwave in the middle of the dining area so I guess its a common occurrence. SMH. There is a French Bakery in Delray on Congress just north of Lake Ida that I recommend over this one also the...
