Listen.. I've been going to this location for the past decade and used to love them. The food is still the same quality, so it's good! Fresh bagels and smears for them. Good iced coffee and pastries. I like the food. This review is more for the service and of one particular employee. I slowly stopped coming as frequently a few years ago due to feeling unwanted and getting off service from this employee. So this past Thursday, 03/13/25 around 10:27 am, I already called to place my order 15 min prior to arrival so I'm good to go and pick up my order upon my arrival. Or so I thought. So there's two distinguished lines, one for PICK UP orders and one for placing an order. Obviously, I go to the pick up order line. There's one person in front of me in line, perfect. She leaves and I'm patiently waiting for the cashier (who happens to be the same unpleasant employee that caused my distancing from this establishment) to close their ticket or whatever they need to do. Once she finishes, she looks up , we make eye contact as to what I assume is an indication that she's ready for me, since I'm the next customer in line, right. Nooo, she looks at me, I take a step forward, she looks to the other side where the other line is for placing orders and says "next customer in line". I'm standing there, confused a bit shocked like uhm am I Casper?? I look back at her and she's blatantly ignoring me, super rude and off putting customer service. The poor customer that got called over is like uhhhh what do I do, I simply smile and tell her it's okay go ahead, obviously I don't count so I'll have to wait :D The whole point is, that was so rude and inconsiderate. A simple effort with communication to let me know she needs to help out the other side would've been sufficient to ease my confusion and not make me feel like an inconvenience to an establishment I've been a frequent customer of for years. Said employee is a senior white slender woman, white pixie cut, circular glasses. Honestly, your behavior is exemplary of what NOT to do when it comes to customer service. If youâre racist, maybe customer service isnât for you. Iâve never had a bad experience here, EXCEPT when I have her attend me. It really is disappointing that one employee can be so detrimental to an otherwise...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is small and works very well together. Ypu can always see the guys through the window behind the counter making the bagels and pastries. They obviously work very hard, and are masters at this craft. The bagels are always, ALWAYS perfect, and the variety of available bagels and cream cheeses are fantastic and flavorful. One of my favorite things to get is their stuffed breakfast knish. Even if I order a mini sized one, it's a meal in of itself. The regular ones are just absolutely huge. And when they say stuffed, they mean STUFFED. I feel almost like the last one I ordered had a 4 egg omelet in between the dough and potatoes, along with globs of melty cheese and, in my case, a juicy breakfast sausage patty. I always take my orders to go because It's usually a weekend and I swing by for breakfast before hitting the beach. And honestly you HAVE to take that knish to go. I brought one home once that a family member didn't want to eat right a way and asked me to put in the fridge-- 30 minutes later she went to eat it and it was still very much very hot in the middle. So be warned that they make these things SO fresh that you will absolutely scald your face with one if you don't give it a decent cool down period. This also makes them great for take out or door dash because by the time you get around to eating it, it's still hot and fresh. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a cinnamon twist. They're made with the same flaky, tasty dough they use for their fresh danishes, which I witnessed them making by hand one morning through a brief opening in the door to the kitchen. These things are giant and perfectly coated with a wonderful icing on top of their sugary-cinnamon goodness. Even better hot. Reheat value is A+ if you're wondering. If you do it right, they are still crispy, like they just came out of the oven. Get there early in the day, as their most popular items, including their knishes, sell out quickly most days. But I've never had an issue getting one if I've gone in before 9am. Wonderful, wonderful,...
Read moreI loved the bagels here! In fact, I went with one friend, and then I took another friend back a few days later!
The first time I went, I got an everything bagel with garlic cream cheese. Although it was really good, the garlic flavor was a little too strong for me, which, considering I typically love a lot of garlic, is saying something. The next time, I got a cheddar bagel with regular cream cheese. My friends got a cheddar bagel with regular cream cheese and a garlic bagel with garlic cream cheese. They both loved their bagels as well. Each time, we got a lot of cream cheese, which was awesome.
For parking, there is a good amount of parking, but be mindful of parking direction and potholes.
The actual building was nice and cozy, and the service was decent. The second time I went, our bagels took a long time to come out, even though they weren't really busy. I t is also worth mentioning that the drinks such as coffee or hot chocolate, are self serve. I had to make my own hot chocolate from packets. This wasn't bad, but it is nice to know this before you pay for it.
Overall, this was an amazing little bagel shop, with unique bagel and cream cheese flavors. I will definitely be recommending this to others, and I will...
