The answering service, on the other hand, are thieves, meaning trying to charge me $30 for a carry out pizza, claiming official coupons are not honored, etc. Previously the answering service over charged me for a delivery- making me use Grub Hub when Howes delivers. There is no real way to call my order in directly. This was the fourth attempt at an order deemed copethetic. And the last one. I love the people at the store, thank you. It makes me sick knowing Hungry Howes Corp wants to use an answering service that steals from customers. Hungry Howes as a corporation is in trouble. What's that mean ? I would call in a pizza and a two-liter once a week, now I won't do it at all. Let's say there's 100 of me a week. When I got home I opened the pizza to find that it was burnt black on the bottom as well as on the crust, to the point of the cheese being hard and pepperoni having black edges. The cheese bread wasnt as burnt but the edges were hard and tough. Im not a complainer but I hate terrible service. Called the store, considering I live 20 miles from them, to try and remedy the situation. The manager, when asked for, never came to the phone. Instead I got the girl at the counter who gave a sarcastic attitude and said they wouldnt do anything unless I drove all the way back to prove the pizza was burnt. Read moreI ordered two medium pizzas and a salad today. After the delivery driver left I realized that I was given a medium and a small pizza. I checked my receipt to double check and make sure it was not my mistake and that I hadn't in fact ordered a medium and a small. So I had called and they proceeded to tell me that they remembered making my order and that they gave me a large pepperoni and a small cheese instead of the two mediums. Which still was not what I had ordered in the first place. Not too mention this is definitely a small and a medium. Then they proceeded to put me on hold twice to have two different employees tell me they gave me a large and a small. Then they told me if I drive up there they'll fix it.
