Iron Skillet — Restaurant in Dement Township

Went in the evening of 3/15/23 took them almost 10 mins to come get my drink order. Then about 5 mins later come back with my drink and took my order. About 10mins later I seen my meal placed in the service window. It was the only meal in the service window. Several waitresses walked by seen it sitting there. Said nothing. Finally after it sat there for 9 mins the same waitress who looked at it several times grabbed it and brought it to me. The order was wrong. I said something and the little spic got an attitude with me. Went back. Got it fixed. Brought it out. The potato’s were cold. The country fried steak was hard and over cooked. The garlic bread was cold and hard. I was not impressed. I said something and they said “that’s how it is “ okay. What ever. I’m hungry and tired don’t have time to mess with them. Ate part of it. And left after I paid and left them a tip on the receipt. Went in the morning of 3/16/23 around 1100. Sat and waited over 10 mins and no one said hi hello be right with you nothing. I looked around. Tons of people with empty cups still sitting with menus etc. I gave up and left and went to my semi. Ordered Taco Bell and had it door dashed to my truck in 13 mins. This place is terrible. We are from out of state (been traveling for 3 weeks) and didn't know this was like, a truck stop kind of place but that's ok...we didn't mind that at all...we like truck stops. We were told to seat ourselves, menu came out fast, there was no price listed for the buffet (that we could see) except for a special on mondays...which it was not. Ordered fried fish and chips basket and crispy chicken and fries. Food was not good. My friend described the fish as "slimy and jelly like in the middle". My sandwich was ok but the fries were the worst I've probably ever had. Inedible (and I hate wasting food). $20 for the two dinners. Then we went down the road to the grocery store to buy food for dinner as we left the restaurant very hungry. Wish we'd gotten the buffet. We've been here a good handful of times but we definitely won't be back. The first time we went here my husband ordered the breaded chicken sandwich and he loved it so much we returned.. and the menu changed as well as the sandwich (he now had to add bacon for an up charge but no big deal). We came back tonight and the waitress brought him a grilled chicken patty that looked like it was thrown in the microwave to heat, barely any bacon, and no chipotle sauce that was supposed to come on it. The waitress took it back saying they no longer serve breaded chicken anymore and gave him a menu again to choose something else. The menu said "breaded chicken sandwich with chipotle sauce".. how do you change the menu but don't change the menu? Anyways he didn't want anything else and it was my 3rd attempt asking for hotsauce while my fish just kept getting colder and colder so we left.....
