Louisiana Cajun Seafood — Restaurant in Denham Springs

My family used to frequent this market often. We would spend hundreds and hundreds here in a week's time. Two days ago, we picked up 20lbs of crawfish and decided we wanted to get more, so yesterday evening (January 7th, 2016), we got another 20lbs! That's $220 spent at this place in two days!!! But too bad these crawfish were ROTTEN! Not even edible. When I called and spoke with a manager, there was "nothing she could do for me". Even the business doesn't back their own product! And when I told her we will be going elsewhere from now on, she didn't care. Horrible form. Horrible management. Horrible business practice! DO NOT come here! I cannot stress this enough! Best place in town. Everytime I'm in Louisiana I stop here for crawfish, this place never lets me down. As for the low star reviews, you guys need to learn how to review and hand out stars accordingly. The service, price and food has always been on point for me. When I bring crawfish home you get reviews from the fam so you can't let them down.

Please don't hurt businesses because you paid more for crawfish when it's not fully in season or when you agree with the food but not the staff. Everyone has different experiences but to give 1 star when everything is fine but something small disappointed you is not the right thing to do especially during times like this when everyone is struggling for staff.

If I could give this place a 0 stars I would . Me and my husband went here to buy crawfish and we expected it to be amazing because the amount of people in line but we were sadly mistaken . When we got the crawfish , it was cold and had no flavor to it whatsoever !! It tasted like straight water . If you like unseasoned food , this is the place to go . Not only was the crawfish terrible and tasted like water , me and my husband put our potatoes in the bag to give it flavor and it infact made the potatoes taste even worse !!! This is a horrible crawfish place and soon after eating this horrible crawfish my husband immediately got sick !! 0/0 would not recommend and it was extremely overpriced for horrible quality food !!!
