If you want dull Americanized Indian food this is NOT the place for you. Everything was so aromatic and flavorful. I did the happy food dance after my first bite!

First of all I must give the chef a round of applause because every single time I have came for pick up or dine in the food is always consistent, his son who runs the front counter is golden and the overall experience is crisp. I have recommended this resturant and will continue to recommend them over ever other Indian restaurant in baton rouge. There is only 4 main restaurants here including Al Noon and none of them even come close to the freshness of ingredients, culinary understanding of preparation and visual appeal that Al Noor has. One of the best Indian foods in BTR. A family owned business that has returned to our city. None of the generic sauces that have ruined what has come to be the standard 'Indian' restaurants in the US. The portions here are wholesome, there are plenty of healthy choices on the menu and there is freshly cooked food every day. Only thing I would warn is that make sure to let them know the level of spice you prefer as there is a very wide spectrum here.
