Spectacular Tubers — Restaurant in Louisiana

The young girl at the counter was so rude. She didn't say, "welcome to Spectacular Tubers"…She didn't even ask, "what can i get for you?"…Realistically, how would someone order??? If my mother did just come out and say what she wanted…she would STILL be standing there. I understand if you may bar are having a bad day, but there is no reason to have such disregard for your customers. This was her demeanor towards every customer in line. It made it very awkward for all customers that were trying to order. When my food was ready, she didn't say, "here your go, do you need something else?" She literally, without any eye contact, THREW the soup on the counter and turned around….that was it. It was very "off-putting" I will not be going...

Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but my husband and I weren't impressed. From the descriptions and pictures on the Windows, we were expecting McAllisters style potatoes (very sad ours closed down). The potatoes were not as large and not as "loaded" as pictured. The 2 soups we tried were not good either. My husband got a club, it had fresh ingredients, but had been toasted with the veggies which made the flavor/texture odd. We ordered it to go, and they put the potatoes in the Styrofoam boxes way too hot (see the picture). The paper and Styrofoam had melted into the potatoes.

The workers were nice and courteous. The service was very fast.

For what we got, I'd rather throw a potato or two into my microwave at home and...

i been coming here since they opened. Just glad its still in business (saying that because its a local business in LA) People saying they spent alot on food and it was wrong was most likely because they asked for a certain potato and changed everything about it. I get the bacon cheeseburger tuber w/ broccoli. The broccoli just adds the veggie i feel like i need ! Usually $17.43 which for the amount of food you get is worth it. 100/10. my mother has had the one with crawfish on it with there crawfish sauce. she loves it ! (After looking at the menu i dont see it but you can just create your own !) Love this place wether i doordash it or pick it up. Always right and consistent...
