Edited my review down to 2 stars due to the counter service. They informed me that my to-go order "wasn't close to be finished" since I had just clicked "I'm here".
Cool, fresh food. Not!
I continued waiting by the counter and asked about my order a couple more times. Still not ready.
A little while later I ask again and low and behold, it's been ready and bagged under the hot lamp.
Do I ask them why they did give the order to the guy who had been standing at their counter for the last 15 minutes. What is your process that when a customer indicates their are in the building ready for their order, the staff just bags it and sets it aside?
Counter response: too many cooks in the kitchen.
Poorly managed at best. Intentionally incompetent at worst.
The inside is nicer than most fast food restaurants. The quality of the food and the service varies from visit to visit.
Sometimes the food is hot, the burgers look much like the picture, and service is good.
Other times... especially with "to go" orders...
The burgers look intentionally smashed. Requested toppings are wrong. Double burgers missing the second pattie. Completely missing side items. 30 minute wait for orders placed through their website. Stated "ready" time 7:07? Yeah right. Try closer to 7:40 and the order will be wrong and cold.
And don't ever order the large onion rings to-go. They box them in a plastic container that retains all the moisture in with the onion rings. 5 minute drive home and found we had cold and moist onion rings. Eww. I'm guessing they boxed the onion rings first, bagged them in to the plastic to-go bag, and then stacked evening else on top as the items came available.
When inside the store I always notice a bunch of kids standing around behind the register, looking like they have no idea what to do. No visible indication of a leader.
50% of the time, the orders are great. Otherwise I'd...
Read moreOur first visit to Culver’s and not impressed. Pull up in drive thru and the young lady sounded very rushed. Told her it would be just a second as this was our first time. When we put in our order for Two butter burgers she starts talking so fast we could only assume she was on her 4th dose of Ritalin. All we could make out were the words French Fries. Get to the drinks..... all we understood was out of pretty much everything but had bottled Pepsi. We said that’s fine we will take ONE. Get to the window to see they have parked several cars and now we have employees running out in the parking lot holding up bags and not sure of which order goes to which car. It was like watching the puppy super bowl! The young girl who thinks she’s getting paid to be an auctioneer finally comes to the window to take our form of payment. We ask her again what were the options of sides. She gave the big eye roll when we changed from fries to cheese curds then ran our card without even stating how much the transaction would be. She comes to the window after running our transaction and Hands us the card and started to hand us TWO Pepsi’s. I quickly stop her and tell her we only ordered one so she keeps the second one. I ask if we already paid for she said yes so I said then please go ahead and give us the second drink. Common sense was missing here clearly. The burgers were anything but butter burgers. They’d been better off to call them an onion & Beef jerky sandwich flash frozen straight from their home state of Wisconsin! We are assuming they are known for maybe their ice cream rather than food?? Brand new building yet horrible food and service will kill a business. We are making bets on how long before they are out of business so we can swoop in and buy...
Read moreMatthew Reed I agree with you totally. My 16 year old started working there and was unable to complete the training due to illness so he wasn't put on the schedule when the store opened which that was no problem. the problem I have is he was told he would be paid on 1/24/20 for the hours he worked which included a 5 hour orientation. When he received his check the 5 hours were not included so he emailed the manager Brad bishop and was told the accountant left the 5 hours off everyone's check by mistake and he would receive them on 2/7/20. He did not so he emailed him again and did not receive a response. I called the next day and left a message and did not receive a return call. The next day I called again and first was told he had stepped and then a could of minutes into me talking with the manager that answered the phone was told oh here he is. Brad Bishop gets on the phone acted very unprofessional and did not identify himself I had to ask if I was speaking to him and he said yes what do you need? While explaining he cut me off and rudely said I emailed him back which he did not and said I responded and said I will have to get with the accountant Monday thank you bye! and hung up in my face. Seriously if this is the way he treated me as a concerned parent I can only imagine how he treats the teens that are employed there. I would beware anyone who has a child working there. Does he think his restaurant will be successful if the management acts like they don't care? Not to mention it is against the law to pay for hours worked. My rating based my experience with this joke of manager would be 0 stars but it makes you at least put 1 star...
