If i could give this place a ZERO, i absolutely would! I ordered a "breakfast platter with sausage..drink to be an orange juice" plus a "biscuit gravy"...that's all, all that's it..which totaled $11.55. After sitting in the drive-thru for way too long, there was a 6XL guy named "Chris" that took my card. I explained to him the last time i ordered breakfast, it tasted like onions and please do not cook my breakfast next to or close to onions. He reassured me that wouldn't happen. I finally got my food and drove back way across town just to open my food container to see the slop in the photo. Gravy and I'm guessing cheese? was everywhere...something i did NOT order on that platter. They had my side of biscuit gravy in another container (did right from the looks). So, i immediately called back to talk to the manager who was this "Katy" with bad acne. I informed Katy BA of my wrong order issue and told her i be back to Whataburger in 5 mins because i was already in route. She said act like she was confused and asked ME "what comes on a breakfast platter"? A MANAGER asking a customer about THEIR set menu? Well i informed her and she said "i will let them know". I arrived and saw a line and so i called Katy BA and stated i shouldn't have to wait in a long line again due to your mistake and i informed you i was on my way back to Whataburger. Katy BA said again, "ok, i will let them know". I waited in the handicap parking by the front door (yes, I'm disabled) for over 23 mins. ATP, I'm over it and i called Whataburger back and it sounded like Chris 6XL answered the phone because he knew what i was waiting on. I told him i don't want the food now. I just want a refund because now the situation is ridiculous. Chris 6XL told me that he would let Katy BA know but i would have to come in for a refund. By the time i gathered up the slop, Katy BA come out saying, "i just got off break but here's your food. It's hot and fresh and burning my hand". Again, i stated atp, i want a refund. She look like she had an attitude the way she walked off quickly and said ok. I waited a couple minutes thinking she was coming outside with my refund but emded up going inside where Katy BA was waiting at the register. I stated i thought she was coming back to my car and of course Katy BA smarted off and said no, she told me to come inside (which SHE didn't) and that even Chris 6XL told me to come inside. OK. Katy BA rang up what was on the ticket ON THE CONTAINER and said my refund will be $10.80. I replied, NO MA'AM! THAT'S NOT WHAT I PAID ON MY CARD AND YOU ALL BETTER GIVE ME ALL MY MONEY BACK! Then i asked for corporate's number. Katy BA replied that the cash register said that's what it owes me back and corporate's number isn't posted but i can look it up myself. I asked her for her name again and Katy BA pointed to her "badge" that wasn't there and said oh, i don't have it on but I'm Katy. I looked at Chris 6XL since he was staring and said Katy BA claims she can't give me a full refund. Chris 6XL said all blank "uh...i don't know" and that's when Katy BA interrupted and said Chris 6XL wouldn't know and she was handling it and do i want the $10.80 cash or not. I told Katy BA i will go ahead and take my partial refund but I'm reporting them for scamming! Whataburger? You should be ashamed of yourselves for having Katy BA and Chris 6XL representing your corporation! NOT ONE APOLOGY WAS GIVEN! It's definitely got to be a problem because it seems that location can't keep team leaders and workers there even temporarily! The attitude and bad service that takes extremely long IS RIDICULOUS. I was very unhappy but i realized when i got home, i still had the orange juice. SO KEEP THE REST OF THE CHANGE ALONG WITH YOUR BAD ATTITUDE AND...
Read moreSo, of course Whataburger is delicious. As far as fast food goes. This particular store has never, not once, gotten my order completely right. Out of just the last 4 visits twice the order was wrong and twice thru forgot to include items I purchased. The first time it was 3 cookies and 2 Apple pies and the second time it was 3 cookies. When I try to call to tell them, no one picks up the phone. It's late after a long day, I don't want to have to drive back up there! I wrote a complaint that night online and still have not heard anything back, that was two weeks ago.
So I posted this above a few weeks ago. I had given it 3 stars. I went back tonight. I'm so mad right now! Last week they had gotten my sons burger wrong and I had to go back up there. They remade the burger. I just went through again and they did not give me part of my order. This time I only pulled up to check my bags instead of going home. So I pull right around back to the order mic and tell them I didn't get the chicken. So I wait in line again to get to the window. I finally get up there and she asks for my receipt. Ok. I give it to her. Then she tells me that the guy said he gave us the box of chicken and I start to tell her no, here is my bag and she says "LET ME FINISH. They also remember you from last week having to remake an order so I'll remake your chicken but we won't ever be able to remake anything for you again." I was in shock. I could only stare at her. Read moreThe Denison Whataburger's quality of service has been degrading for some time now. I've overlooked this because I like the food but today was the last time I will ever go there. The service is slow, even when they are not busy. I ordered the Number 1 which is about as simple as an order can get. A burger, fries, and a drink. Upon arriving at the window, they took my money and then asked me to pull around to the front of the restaurant. There was no one behind me and there were already cars waiting in the limited space they have up front. I told them it did not make sense to pull around while no one was behind me and that there wasn't any room left up front. They insisted, which has happened to me several times before and when I have pulled to the front the orders are slower and once they even forgot it all together. I explained this and they still insisted so I spoke with the manager who was very rude. I then requested a refund. After the amount of attitude I received from the manager, I did not trust the food. She ignored me and left me sitting at the window. I flagged several people down and asked for a refund but ultimately the manager came back with the food. I refused it and once again asked for a refund. She angrily gave me back the money and was so rushed that she dropped the change. She was more indignant when I asked her to correct her mistake.
