Ardeo Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in Dennis

My husband and I are on our weekend stay-cation for the first time without our twins. Last night we were looking for somewhere to eat but it was around 9pm and not many places were open. We saw Ardeo’s as we were driving by and saw the cute lights outside and decided to stop. The restaurant was empty besides us and the server (young man with brown hair, wasn’t able to catch his name) seated us right away. He was so professional and welcoming and let us know the grille was closing soon. We ordered app of spinach and artichoke dip and the BBQ chicken pizza and the margherita pizza and they were SO GOOD, out of this world. It was a great experience, next time we are in the area we will absolutely be stopping back. We were the last table of the night, it was evident as the other servers looked like they were ready to go but this gentleman sat us and we are grateful. Walked in with a group of 12 people to a completely empty restaurant. We asked if we could split up at the empty booths because the tables had high chairs which wouldnt work for our kids and were rudely told "no because we would take up all the booths on everyone else by a gentleman in the back." Mind you this restaurant was nearly empty lol. A kind young female employee started to put broken tables together for us in the back, shoving cardboard under the table legs because they were so dangerously wobbling. The highchairs were below the height of the table so there was no way the kids could eat comfortably or safely. After a million pieces of cardboard under the table legs we decided to up and leave. I put an order in through their app. It only allowed me to select noon time, so I called and requested 11:50. I was told no problem, "I have it right here, all set." I was having an event at noon and it's about an 8 minute drive. At 1144 I received a notification that my order was ready for pickup. I was just arriving and went in - they gave me a bag and told me it was the salads and desserts. Then they told me there was a problem with the oven and the order was going to be a few minutes. I didn't leave there until 12:06. Very disappointed. They did offer to deliver it but I was there and wanted to take it. There's major construction going on here and the directions would have been difficult if not impossible to follow.
