Captain Baker Donut Shop — Restaurant in Dennis

as I drive by this location all the time decide to finally stop and get some donuts, I bought a dozen donuts and large Iced coffe and it cost me $49.46 which was Outrageous. first off the girl making the donuts had a cold and was sniffling and wiping her nose with her gloves on and didn't even change them. I was Disgusted and on top of it a got a coffee which they make you go outside in the back of the store were they keep coffee out on a HOT Patio ! with milk and cream sitting out in the sunny back yard. not even on ice. They gave me a cup full of ice but when i made my coffee it all melted and i put milk in it and it was old and sour and was spoiled because of fermentation. On top of that when I got home half of the donuts were not what I ordered. either the girl at counter wrote down the wrong donuts or the sniffing girl making them did them wrong. This place was fantastic. To start it was very busy, but not in a terrible way, for 9am on a Monday. Which speaks volumes to their desirability. Even though it was so busy our wait to be served and receive out donuts and coffee was exceptionally quick. Very delightful. The donuts themselves were very very good. We got a half dozen with a few different kinds and all were good. We even were able to design our own from a large list of different glazes and toppings. Never had that option before and it allowed me to build something more specific to my tastes at the time. Very very good donuts. We did also get a couple iced coffees as well, and the coffee brand they use, I unfortunately do not recall from where, were also super good. If you are staying in or around Dennis MA you definitely need to go here...

The donuts that are coming out of Captain Baker’s donut shop are astronomically delicious I love the fact that you can stand there and watch them make the donuts dipping it in the various glazes, adding the toppings fantastic touch. I ordered a dozen donuts and I just said give me your most popular ones too many different flavors and varieties to choose from everything you can tell is made in house which goes to show the high-quality of the donut. As a YouTube food reviewer if you’re ever in Cape Cod and you need or want a tasty donut this could be possibly your best option.
