My wife and I have been eating here basically every weekend for almost the entirety of the last year. Itâs literally the best pizza Iâve had in the Metroplex, and possibly anywhere else.
The dough is sublimely dense and perfectly chewy throughout; the ingredients are always fresh, delicious, and surprise every time; theyâre constantly trying new pizzas with an eye for seasonality: from hatch green chile & pork to summer corn & pancetta to pesto to marinara & so much more. They have tons of options to spin an order, and they offer delicious cashew cheese to make anything vegan.
And thatâs just the pizza! The ice cream is also otherworldly goodâmy favorite is the lemon, but theyâre constantly changing up their offerings with matcha, palm sugar, coconut, cherry & chocolate, and more.
They also offer great house-made salads; their natural wine selection is always on-point; they have a ton of local Texan and imported Italian beers. Iâve even had brunch a couple of times and gotten a khachapuri with two big âole eggs on it that I still dream about.
It really doesnât get any better than Aglio. Run, donât walk! Best...
Read moreThis place has been on my list for quite a while, but I honestly thought maybe it opened and closed before I had a chance to enjoy it, as I kept driving by the location and never saw a sign. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! Because if you give up or don't keep a sharp eye, you will miss a true "hidden gem."
This is an order at the counter pizza and ice cream bit of heaven. The menu and hours of operation are small but perfect...right down to the appetizer option of warm almonds.
The pizza is simply amazing. The crust is perfect for the topping styles. I strongly suggest getting one of their creations (though they do have a build your own option).
I was simply too full to try the ice cream, but it looked incredibly creamy. I will be back for that, for sure!
As a solo diner, I always try to be thoughtful and leave the tables to couples, so I loved the bar style seating option. However, I found it unsettling to have the entire restaurant behind me. It seemed worth mentioning, but also pointing out that I chose this seat myself, and it should not stop anyone from experiencing this incredible addition to the...

Aglio Pizzeria is truly one-of-a-kind. By day, this space is Yoga Project, but at night, it transforms into a warm, inviting pizzeria. With candlelight, fresh flowers, and a cozy atmosphere, youâd never guess it was a yoga studio just hours before.
I loved the Rosmarino pizzaâthe perfect balance of rosemary, mozzarella, and sea salt on a light, crisp crust thatâs fermented for 72 hours. You can taste the care Stacy and Dave put into every detail, from the dough to the rosemary and even the beer and wine list.
Even though itâs a counter-service spot with a minimalist staff, the service feels warm and thoughtful. The entire experienceâyoga or pizzaâis rooted in creativity and community.
If youâre looking for a unique dining experience, head to an evening yoga class on a Friday or Saturday night with a friend or loved oneâthen stay for wood-fired pizzas and a thoughtfully crafted menu. Itâs the perfect way to feed both body and soul.
