The owner is immature and extremely defensive. Not everyone who leaves you a one star review is doing so spitefully, especially when you only passively accept responsibility for your role in things. If you can't accept valid criticism , you will never grow as a business owner or person. She had the audacity to say that I was willing to give a negative review over something I won't remember in a year. Hilarious because six months later, I still haven't forgotten. It's almost like people never forget how you made them feel. Especially when you disrespect them and act like they're in the wrong for speaking up. And the offer to stop by the studio to pick up a doggy bag or take the half painted canvas that someone else took it upon themselves to start that had not paid were proposed BEFORE the refund, not in addition to. We also did not pay for a take- home experience. We paid to sit down like everyone else was doing. She claims I won't remember it in a year, but I absolutely will. No one ever forgets how you made them feel. Especially when they're trying to make you feel like the bad guy over someone else's antics. The customer may not always be right , but they are the customer that chose to spend their hard earned money with you. The way local businesses are closing left and right, she should be more appreciative of customers and thankful.
My first experience with this place was an offsite event hosted at Lucky Lou's. First impressions are everything, and PWAT failed in that department. The instructor from PWAT was unorganized and irresponsible. Because how the hell do you let someone come in, sit down, and start painting who has not paid for the experience take a canvas away from somebody who did pay? Arrived for the event and she was a canvas short and couldn't figure out why. So there was one for me , but not my friend who also paid for this event. How the hell do you not have the good sense to bring a few extra canvases? And then she even went as far as to offer us the person's half painted canvas. that was just insulting. The fact that she let someone who did not pay steal from paying customers was infuriating. Then she said she could make a togo bag we would have to come by the studio to pick up. We didn't pay to have to travel to the studio for a doggy bag. That too, was insulting. 🙄🙄 First ever painting with a twist experience ruined by a...
Read moreI had my birthday party here a few days ago and we all had a great time! Jenna was really good at what she was doing and has an amazing voice! She sang to us the rules to follow and my daughter still asks me to sing them to her...can't remember the whole thing but it was lovely. Ms. Margo was also really helpful. There were 23 of us including two children and we had a memorable time. I would recommend this to anyone looking to have a simple fun time with everyone being involved. Sometimes it is hard to reach someone on phone but if you are persistant you will usually get someone after some time. We started a little later than planned but it worked out great since people were still arriving and it also gave us time to chill a bit. Their restroom was also clean, the website is also user friendly. Thank you for making it a wonderful time.I hope to be back...
Read moreWent to a teen’s birthday party here about a year ago and thought the experience was fantastic! Each guest was supplied with everything they needed and the piece you were to paint was selected by the birthday girl. The instructor (who was super nice) took us through each step and helped out anyone who couldn’t quite grasp a certain step. You didn’t have to stay on subject, you could alter it to your own likes if so desired. A few of the adults in attendance put their own twists on their canvases. It was a great party experience, maybe a lot for a little more present/cake/chit chat time by making sure your entire party is there and ready to start on time. Photos are from the upstairs...
