Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Denton

I highly recommend this location!! Read to the end to find out why I'm only giving it a four star rating when it should be a five star! This was my second time ordering from this location since I'm new to this area. I was in an expeditious haste to get back home since this was my second and final stop to get all the food for the New Year's eve party I was having at my place. I arrive to affable employees with happy faces, or as happy as they could possibly fake with having to work on a holiday, and I was greeted with the typical New Year's salutations only then to discover that three of the four pizzas I had ordered were incorrectly constructed and baked, e.g., wrong crust and toppings. I politely pull my phone from my pocket and play back the call that I had made when I placed my order....I have a call recording app just for occasions such as this. When the manager heard that it was their mistake he immediately remade the pizzas correctly, on the fly, while I waited patiently, and even though they were made rather precipitously it didn't affect the sapor of the pizza and they all came out perfectly palatable and with excellent sapidness. In other words they tasted really freaking good!! Although I was in no way upset or apoplectic at the manager or his staff he definitely ameliorated the situation by only charging me $6 for the one pizza that was made correctly and took the other three home free and that's only because I insisted I pay for something. The pizza at this Pizza Hut is top notch and I'm sure I'll change my four star rating to a five star the next time I order dependent upon if my pies are made correctly this next time, but this review will stand! We visit this store frequently and am extremely unimpressed the last few times. We ordered tonight, I walk in and no one acknowledged me for 2-3 minutes, which I don’t mind, if it’s busy and you’re understaffed, but one person was sleeping, one was washing their hands and then seemed to turn the opposite direction to purposely not have to acknowledge me, another was pulling pizzas off of the oven, which were ours. Pizzas were undercooked and bbq pizza hardly had bbq. Kids were disappointed but we put the undercooked one in the air fryer.

On another order a few weeks ago, we ordered 2 hours in advance for delivery of 5 pizzas. Order was almost 45 minutes late. Their driver no showed and instead of letting us know they called for door dash. Again, I understand, but communication.

We will more than likely stick with Papa John’s moving forward. This store seems to really struggle with customer service and our experience lately hasn’t...

The female "manager" GLORIA must have just been released from the penitentiary or something. She definitely has zero customer service skills, zero people skills, and zero personality.

I tried ordering cheese bread the other day online. I was called back and told they ran out of cheese bread. Fine. They should refund me, No?

When I noticed that the charge cleared the bank, I tried calling to resolve the matter, but no answer. So I went to the store in person. The "woman" manager Gloria proceeded to yell at me. Make fun of me. Saying I was wrong and to take it up with corporate office, as they are only franchise. Then she walked away.

I was one breath away from going ballistic in that pizza hut. But I gathered myself, then called the cops.
