CAVA — Restaurant in Denver

Excellent options for a healthy meal at an affordable price. There are vegetarian options and meats such as lamb, chicken, and steak. I think everything is reasonably priced and I greatly appreciate the variety of flavors. This place seems very Mediterranean-inspired.

There are three drawbacks though with one being easier to fix than the others. The indoor seating area is modern and clean, though the lines get too long throughout the day. It’s easy for the line to spillover into the dining area. I don’t believe in walls necessarily and the building isn’t really big enough to expand.

Sometimes the pita strip chips/crisps can be too oily. This order I have with them is perfect though. They taste very fresh and no overbearing oily flavor. It’s something needing to be monitored more closely.

Finally, I really love the seasoning they put on the pita bread. I was able to enjoy a complementary order of pita bread last month during my birthday month. The saltiness could be cut back more while still maintaining that seasoned flavor. It’s too salty after a few pieces of a big order.

Overall I’m very passionate for this franchise for the meals bursting with flavor at affordable prices. I’ve always wanted to open up a healthy restaurant chain myself that has a drive-through window (technically it’s a ‘digital’ drive-through now, but maybe that will change?) I’m really surprised we don’t have a lot of drive-through healthy convenience options across the country.

I need to report a serious issue with the CAVA order I received today. As soon as I finished eating my bowl — around 2:40 PM — I became violently ill. I have no history of stomach problems, no prior illness, and this was the only meal I ate today. Within minutes, I began uncontrollably vomiting and have not been able to stop for over two hours.

In addition, the cucumber mint tea that came with my order tasted off and unusual. I cannot be certain whether that was due to contamination in the drink itself or a result of my immediate reaction to the food, but it did not taste right.

This reaction was severe and concerning, and I believe something in the order was expired, contaminated, or unsafe to consume. I am very worried about my health and the safety of other customers.

Please escalate this matter for urgent review. I expect a full refund for this order, and I would also like confirmation that this complaint will be forwarded to CAVA for...

I have loved cava for a while but this was the first time the staff was so rude. I know they have a assembly line but one person started my meal and then two other people leaned over my food and did online orders just leaning over my food when I said something one person pushed it out of the way which was the very least I can ask but she had a attitude as if how dare I ask someone not to lean over my food with their armpits lined up with my lamb bowl and then another person pushed my order out of the way and I left … to pay 20 dollars for two pieces of lamb and rude service and dogs hair in my food from the shirt you picked up from the floor to go to work. I gotta look up how to make lamb on YouTube now dang it!!! I will never pay for that level of audacity pushed my food at least 4 times for a online order for someone who’s not even there yet...
