Originally, my girlfriends and I had made plans for a Saturday outing, but we decided to cancel due to anticipated weather conditions. On the day of our plans, we found the weather to be much milder than expected, prompting a spontaneous lunch at Dumpling Kitchen.

Dumpling Kitchen is a charming and cozy spot, perfect for a casual dining experience. The small size of the restaurant adds to its charm, creating an intimate atmosphere that is both welcoming and delightful.

We decided to try a couple of dishes, and I must say, each one was very good! One dish was noted for its spice, which can sometimes be overwhelming for those sensitive to heat. However, as someone who cannot handle spice, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was not spicy at all, making it a perfect addition to our meal. The flavors were well-balanced and satisfying. An added bonus was the merchandise for sale! It's always fun to see a restaurant offer unique items that reflect their brand.

I had the pleasure of dining at Dumplings Kitchen with my elderly grandmother, and I must say, the care and attention we received were absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my grandmother was comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to encounter such genuine compassion and thoughtful service, but here, they treated her with the kind of respect and kindness that truly stood out.

We stopped here late on a Saturday night. The place wasn’t very busy, so we were able to speak with the server about her recommendations. We had not tried dumplings before, so we weren’t sure where to begin.

We ended up ordering pork and shrimp dumplings, thick wrapper chicken dumplings and Xiaolong bao (soup dumplings).

We sat down at one of the tables, which had containers of vinegar, soy sauce and chile oil. Our server brought out bowls and spoons. She explained that we were to mix the three ingredients to our liking to use with the dumplings.

The food came out quickly, and all three of us were very impressed. The thick wrapper chicken dumplings were our least favorite, and the soup dumplings were our top pick overall. However, they were all delicious.
