Every time I visit this Dutch Bros, Pita makes my day ā not just my drink. Her energy, heart, and leadership are unmatched. Even with everything my wife and I have been going through, she took the time to connect, uplift, and genuinely care. She even gave us handwritten cards ā one for me, and one filled with kind messages from the whole staff for my wife, whoās been hospitalized for months. That moment meant the world to me.
Pita is the heart and soul of this location. She doesnāt just show up ā she leads with intention, compassion, and excellence every single time. Whether itās how she connects with people, how she carries herself under pressure, or how she uplifts her team, she radiates leadership. Emely is one of the most genuine and uplifting people Iāve ever encountered at any Dutch Bros. She has a gift for making every customer feel welcomed, remembered, and appreciated. Sheās not just friendly ā she connects. Her presence brings joy to the experience, and her consistency speaks volumes about her dedication. Dutch Bros is truly better because sheās a part of it. I frequent the Aurora and GVR location about 3 days a week (drinks are delicious). Today was definitely the worse experience of all time at the GVR location. Why? The young women at the window literally lied to me in my face. I ordered a dirty Blue Oasis, which I just had yesterday at the Aurora location. She handed me a drink called the Shark Attack to which I told her this is not my drink I ordered the Blue Oasis. She then told me they changed the name and that both drinks are the same thing (they are not). I didnt want to slow the already dreadfully slow line down so I accepted the drink and pulled off and parked. I pulled up the app, screenshot both drinks and took it to the window to show the difference between the two. The women at the window was visibly puzzled and agreed that the drink I was given which was BROWN in color was not the BLUE Oasis. I tried to give the drink back but she said I had to throw it away myself, ok cool. She then when and fixed me the correct drink. The original girl I dealt with at the window that lied to me said she's worked for Dutch Bros for 2 years and tried to gaslight me should be reprimanded and spoken with immediately. At other locations Iāve never run into this problem⦠my drink was literally milk. I know because I watched the girl make it. She put what looked like half a shot of espresso into the cup (I ordered a medium) then filled the rest with milk and topped it off with more ice despite me asking for light ice. I took the drink but had to turn around to have them remake it because it truly would have been a terrible start to my morning if I paid $7 after tip, for milk. They did remake the drink and werenāt rude but looked at me like Iād must have never ordered an annihilator before because it was āmade correctlyā and they would go ahead and remake it but with extra shots this time.
