Great Wall Chinese Express — Restaurant in Denver

I've been going to this place for years I would say 20-30 years tops it's always been looking rundown but the food has been quite delicious sometimes some days they don't cook the rice all the way through and it's a little hard but at the same time it's really delicious the only thing about the place is sometimes they have some vagrance and some other shady looking characters but there's times where the lady that's a part of the crew she can be a little testy and you might have to put her in her place a few times but at the end of the day the food is still good now if they can just get a remodel everything will be up and going fine. The Great Wall Chinese restaurant is the last resort, tired from the day, can't cook dinner, cheap place to eat. One employee serves mounds of over heated food from trays into styrofoam containers. You can eat in the restaurant however, I doubt it is a welcomed as there is no other service beyond the initial interaction. Extras are not promoted, 1 napkin, 1 spork and 1 package of soy sauce per person. You have to pay for the sweet and sour sauce with an order of wontons. I ordered the Seasame chicken and salt and peppered shrimp. The shrimp was absolutely disgusting. The shrimp was not deshelled and when the shell was taken off to eat, it was very gross. I called back within a half hour after getting my food to ask about the shrimp and they said that's how they cooked it. The chicken. Was very bland and chewy like it was microwaved. I tried this place out because of their reviews, but I can't figure out how their reviews are so high. Horrible experience! Never again...
