1.35 N UP A Scoop Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Sheridan

So I actually ordered food to drop off 2 my husband, His response to this horrific meal I brought, left me sort of speechless. As he described it it was as if somebody who seriously hated their job if not humans in general comes into work everyday to sabotage these meals mixing straight raw rice with a pan of partially cooked rice and he also decided that the meat we fed our dogs was a much higher grade than what was on his plate so he headed to the dogs also said that it left him feeling physically sick afterwards cuz he did eat it he was hungry I don't blame him but that's got to be some not only just ugly vibes and seriously horrific monsters who run this place I will never be coming back here obviously I'm not trying to kill my family I hope he leaves a review so that anybody who does go here knows what they're really getting, And no it's not a warm welcome how are you when you enter the restaurant more like (what do you want !) (Now get out!) I hope that if anyone else has felt seriously displaced eating here or just right out sick with an ugly feeling inside of them after eating this slop, display there experience so that more people understand that what their ordering is far from soul food so far from it that my husband is convinced somebody's so hateful showing up to work that they make sure anybody else coming through that place feels the same and he does it through his food or she whoever is running...

This is really a 4 star review, but I'm giving 5 stars and I will explain why.

I have lived in the area and have avoided $1.35 scoop for a few reasons. I don't eat out often, and I had read bad reviews on Google and Yelp about the food and service.

After visiting today, I don't feel like the reviews are fair. I will say that the name of the restaurant should be changed, but inflation is not their fault. Dollar tree probably should change their name as well, but we all still shop there.

The food was decent. Like I said, 4 stars - for a take out Chinese place. T

The service was great. Friendly, accommodating and fast. They honestly gave me better service than Panda did when I was last there

I was also surprised at how clean it was inside. These guys are working hard and you can tell they care. And that's why I'm giving them five stars. It's nice to see local businesses working their asses off to do better than national chains, and they are doing it here.

I usually go to a 1.90 scoop on Hampden and Jefferson Ave in Englewood. They close early and we had an appointment which was done after the closed , so we went here. The food was more expensive after ordering. and got home, it was gross and not satisfying. My daughter always orders won tons, and she was not happy, amd asked for a frozen TV dinner to get full. I ordered shrimp (pepper flavored) which is $4 for 10 shrimp. The shrimp were cooked and seasoned in sauce, but when I went home to enjoy, I had to peel and de vein the shrimp; they cooked the shrimp in the sauce in the peel. We WILL NEVER go back!!!!! If you want good food go to Thai and Chinese express at Hampden and Logan in Emglewood. (They have great customer service, the food is yummy and doesn't let down , they let you sample food to know what it tastes like, and it tastes good. It it worth the trip out of the way. DONT go here of you care about quality of food and taste, or getting...
