This location has gone downhill. The quality of the food is hit or miss (crab cheese wonton are frequently soaked with grease and under done from improper cooking temp, pad thai is subpar and now this..._But I still was ordering certain items from for take out on a regular basis since I like their veg sushi and it's convenient. This week I got an unappetizing order of edamame. It smelled weird and most of them were discolored with yellow instead of being green. We threw them out. I called the next day just to share the feedback (not ask for a refund/credit). An Asian man answered. I don't know what his role is in the restaurant but let's just say I won't be ordering there again with his response. He did first thank me for telling him but then completely discredited my experience by saying no one else had ever complained about the edamame - not that week or in seven years. It's so obnoxious to do that to a customer, especially one who is honestly just trying to give some feedback on a bad experience - not trying to swindle the restaurant for free food. Well I guess since no one else ever had bad edamame there, I must be hallucinating or an idiot. He was so rude. Good-bye John Hollys. There are way too many other options...

Absolutely unacceptable behavior from the delivery driver. He couldn’t even manage to actually bring my food to the door so i sent my boyfriend downstairs to the lobby. I paid with Apple Pay through the website when placing the order which never asked for me to leave a tip option and unfortunately I don’t carry cash, i even tried to go back and edit my order after my email confirmation but couldn’t add a tip afterwards. The delivery driver wouldn’t hand over our food until we tipped him. So my boyfriend came back upstairs, and luckily we had a few dollars in quarters to give him something and he FOLLOWED MY BOYFRIEND four floors up and waited at the door unwilling to give us our food. When we tried to give him a tip he got mad and denied the tip altogether because it was in coins. Never ordering from here again. I worked in the service industry for ten years. I fully intended to leave a tip with my card but mistakenly maybe skipped past it. But certainly this is not the way to earn a tip anyways. Tips are extra gratitude. Not a requirement for me to get my food that I paid for. I am LIVID at...

The kids were in the mood for hot soup and we decided to go to twin dragon but for some reason they were closed!! So decided to search for other Asian restaurants and we found this one. Decided to go here. It’s located in a cute location. As we entered we were greeted by friendly staff. We were the only customers there because we went at 2pm!! We did the lunch special. I was shocked that we could choose our own starters!!! I mean every Asian restaurant I have been to they give egg roll as a starter with lunch specials!! Here I could choose from 6-7 different starters of which 3 where sushi!! We ordered hot and sour soup for each entree and we ordered as starters for each entree crab cheese wonton and California roll. The entrees we order were kung pao shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. They were all lunch portions but it seemed like dinner portions!! The food was soooo yummy and well prepared. The presentation of each dish was also very nice. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend this...

I've lived in this neighborhood for most of my life, so it's surprising that I've only just discovered John Holly's Asian Bistro. With a very unassuming exterior tucked in among several other local favorites, I guess it was easy to look over. But once inside I found it to have a very welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the baked green mussels with dynamite sauce for an appetizer. For entrees we ordered the California rolls, Philadelphia rolls, Alaskan rolls and the wonton soup. Everything was excellently prepared and served, and came out of the kitchen very quickly. The rolls were the best I've had; the Alaskan rolls gave me a genuinely emotional experience as all the powerful flavors packed inside took their turn. At the end of our meal we were served half an orange coated with a sweet powder, which was a nice touch. Prepared for anything at checkout, the price was easily justified for the quality of the meal - about $45 before tip. An excellent location for dates, family dinners and work meals. I highly recommend it, and will be returning as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Adding some new pictures of green curry cod, calamari, salmon, crab cake, lobster shrimp fried rice, and green beans and eggplant. SOOO GOOD. Full of flavor and deliciousness. Price: Very fair. You are getting all that and then some. Food: From wait time, to presentation, to taste…super flavorful, I’m always so excited to eat here lol Their catering options are incredible too. Check out the pictures of the sashimi boats. I don’t eat sashimi but seeing how pretty it was, I almost wish I did lol. Service: Everyone is so family oriented here. You get treated like you’re a part of the fam as well. Everytime I come here, I see regulars come in and can feel the warmth from the staff. Environment: Dinning area, bar area with seating, sushi bar with seating. Not the biggest inside but plenty of room. NTT [[Next Time Try]]: EVERYTHING. That’s it. That’s all. Eat everything. Lol. You can catch me here everytime I’m in Denver. #iLoveItHere
