I'm posting all 5 stars for the following. As a venue photographer I have been to dozens of venues. I've seen tech n9ne, Chris Webby, Abstract, Green day, moon hooch... Tons more.
I always leave venues with pressure build up in my ears and I know you can wear ear plugs etc however it's nice to be able to talk to someone while the performance is going on. This venue is just the perfect volume. The in house Audio engineer definitely knows what he's doing. There was only 1 instance of harshness coming across the speakers. I even watch was he adjusted after that 1 bad vocal line came across the speaker. If you care about crispness, hearing the artist and not being deaf for 3-4 hours after the show I'd come here over anywhere else.
I didn't drink here, didn't order food don't even know if they offer it. However I do know the venue is very laid back in terms of strictness. I snuck a unicycle on stage for Abstract to ride and to my knowledge/surprise no one got in trouble. Haha always a good time when the venue and artists get...

To deny anyone the opportunity of music because of your age is a sin. This venue sets a bad example for the music world. I give this place 1 star for anyone who has been in this situation. Also to any musician who was denied the opportunity to experience music of there favorite musician, idols / role models. And there opportunity lost because of it.Not everyone is a white trash college kid, going to concerts just to get intoxicated and laid. The fact that these people get to go to concerts, and not people that actually care about the music saddens me.I wish the owners of the venue would realize all the money they lose because of this. The reason why this is such a trashy venue is because of there age restriction. If you support my claim write bad reviews until the owners...
Read moreShow was supposed to START at 8pm per the tickets. Headliner played their last song at at 8:11pm. Three bands were done with their set prior to the "start time". Drove nearly two hours to miss the act I paid to see. I even called in advance to confirm the schedule but there is nobody available by phone day of show. Sad considering this is one of the last authentic-feeling venues in the city..
You need to be inside of the venue around 1.5-2 hours prior to ticket time if you want to actually see the show. Do not count on the headliner closing out the show for the night -- and do not count on the ability to acquire that information prior.
Has the potential to be a really authentic and intimate venue, but lacking in basic...
