What can I say about my favorite coffee shop on Colfax and the greater denver area? Sometimes I wish it was a little further away so that I had something other than will power to keep me from going every day. Just kidding I don’t think that would actually keep me away. Their espresso and coffee: super bright and flavorful. They use SweetBloom and MiddleState so you’re sure to get a great cup of whatever you order. They make their own syrups so again, great flavor (try the cafe meow, it’s fantastic) Food: provided by Good Bread, arguably the best bakery in Denver, and it’s right across the street so it is FRESH!! Also their fresh made breakfast burritos are DELICIOUS and they have a great vegetarian option that’s filling but not overly so (compromised of green chili, need I say more?) Baristas: nothing short of rad and wonderful people. They’ll make your drink right and quick, and NAIL an oat milk cap every time no matter the barista so A++ Atmosphere: chill and good music (they also sell plants so... bonus points here) Location: prime. Whether it’s a week day or the weekend, there is plenty to do and is surrounded by lots of great, local spots to check out.
15/10, I will always return when I’m in the area (or when I’m not and craving a fantastic...
Read moreThe house chai was the worst beverage I've ever had, and I have accidentally drank non-potable water. We ordered it with regular milk. It didn't even taste like milk??? My daughter described it as, "Mission Valley Texas tap water, with a hint of chai and a whisper of cinnamon." I said it tasted like Colfax sock water. We each took two sips, gave it a mix to be sure, then abandoned ship. "It was truly awful and I wish to never experience this again." When she dumped it, there was lumps. The vanilla latte was bland and the roast tasted burnt. Still drinkable in a pinch, but not a solid beverage. I gave one star for that.
The service was amazing though. I very much appreciate those people and their labor! Thank you for making me giggle with your banter. You're doing the best you can with the...

Surprisingly up until what has been going on with the construction on federal I haven't heard of this place but as soon as you enter you can immediately tell it's a Denver institution that needs to be protected at all costs.
The service was friendly across the board and the lady at the front offered great recommendations. Their latte syrup menu is pretty straightforward but what is offered is consistently good since it's all made in house. Especially the maple cinnamon flavor.
Also the whole "made in house" thing doesn't stop at the syrups. Their homemade cheesy biscuits served as the Perfect vessel for the crispy egg and bacon breakfast sandwich I scarfed down in under 5 minutes
While the place is small it makes up for it in so...
