Wendy's — Restaurant in Denver

The staff here likes to hand out diet drinks with their orders, even if the order did not state that the drink was diet. Sometimes they'll even write diet on the receipt, and tell you that they can't change it, but that you shouldn't worry because you'll get the correct order anyway. Then think it's funny when you're a repeat customer that keeps having to tell them that you received a diet drink, even though it's not what you asked for.

Truth be told, diet sodas should be banned in the US, as it is in other nations. Aspartame is a highly toxic chemical that's demonstrably carcinogenic, and a cause of a myriad of brain disease and birth defects. Anyone selling diet sodas does not care about the quality of products sold, or the health of the people consuming these products.

I've also had issues with their peculiar taco salad orders. For whatever reason, they seem to give you a handful of chips in a small plastic bag that's probably more expensive than the chips they contain. There's so few chips that you may as well throw the bag away because it won't make much difference either way. The proportion of tortilla to salad is wildly off.

It's not like you can eat a taco salad that you receive, either. You have to go home, bring out a mixing bowl, toss out the useless bag of chips you got from Wendy's, and then add your own chips from the store in the mixing bowl with the chili and salad. Honestly, as expensive as this is, we really shouldn't be paying so much for what really amounts to going to the grocery store to pick up a small bag of lettuce, which you should have already gotten after...

Seriously a horrible place! I love Wendy's, but this place .. ugh! It deserves 1 star just for the man who made sure the lobby and outside were clean, he deserves it. Other then that, the staff seems to not know what they are doing. The lady at the register up front seemed to be a manager, since was wearing a black shirt, she didn't listen at all! I had to repeat my order to her like 5 times! How hard is it to understand, "I would like the 4 for 4 with the Jr Swiss bacon cheeseburger" Then to add, after I ate half my burger I saw it was bright pink on the inside! Seriously?! When I took it to the front to show them they just tried to get me another burger, which I didn't want cause I just ate my food, & my burger was way under cooked making me loose my appetite. I kept asking for my receipt cause the lady at the front didn't give it to me, nor put it on my tray, they didn't want to give it to me!

About an hour after I left I got really sick, throwing up all my food, & sharp needle pains in my stomach for bout next hour and half.

When I called to get the number to corporate, the manager that answered seemed as if she was trying not to give it to me.

On 8/10/21 My wife came through drive thru she ordered a Homestyle meal with large Fruit Punch. No receipt was given nobody in first window as i was about to drive forward a lady stuck a hand out window and my wife gave her $10.00 CASH, My wife then proceed to the next window. Their was a called to the Manager with a very heavy accent who kept demanding me to bring the receipt and the food back under Covid-19 why would you bring food back, My wife was talked about by employees and shaking their head the employees were confronted that took the $10.00 and she denied seeing and receiving the $10.00 told the Manager she didn't know seeing my wife but when she was in the window when she took the money she spoke English when I came back to get my replaced order i was given a sandwich i order a drink and fries the fries were cold and drink had no ice. Horrible Customer Service didn't even get my full order replaced on top of the Manager arguing with me on the phone. It was a waste of time my gas to over the wrong sandwich being given out I expected Homestyle chicken sandwich but got a grilled chicken and cold fries. I will never go to this...
