I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding a recent incident with my order at your shop. I had placed an order for a sonic themed birthday cake to celebrate my son’s special day. This order was placed well in advance to ensure everything would be prepared on time for the occasion. However, I was utterly dismayed when I arrived to pick up my cake and was advised that my order was cancelled. Not only was cancelling my order a mistake on your end, but your shop erroneously refunded someone else’s card. This caused an immense inconvenience and also significantly disrupted our birthday celebration plans. My son’s birthday is an important event for our family and the absence of the customized cake we had eagerly anticipated was deeply disheartening to the birthday boy and the rest of my family. I understand that mistakes happen, but I must emphasize the lack of your professionalism to make things right. Came with a few friends one Saturday night, and the place was jammed packed, we thought it would be manageable getting through it (based on other ice cream places in the past). Upon entering there was no clear sign of really how it goes, yes there was a sign that says to grab a ticket. All the years I’ve been to an ice cream shop, I don’t recall getting a ticket just to ORDER an ice cream. We waited for a good amount of time, I’d say 15 min in, and we were not even half way to the number that we pulled from this machine. We could literally drive 25 min out to another ice cream place and come back and still be on this “line” or “ticketing carousel”. It felt like I was in a DMV waiting for my ice cream appointment to be called. It shouldn’t be this hard to have guest/customers come in, pick up a flavor of their choosing, pay and enjoy a treat for themselves. Shout out to the workers who serve the guest that evening and did their best, but please have a better system to serve a higher volume. Speed of service + great product = return...

I had a show in Somewheresville one evening with a pal of mine, and we decided that we deserved a delicious treat afterwards. I looked at the map and got excited. I’ve always heard good things about Denville Dairy - and we were only about 12 minutes away. This was my big chance.

First off, the town of Denville was a delight. There were families walking around, music playing through little speakers on light poles, and kids running and playing. It was a bit bucolic, I think.

We got inside, and the place was absolutely mobbed. So many people in a confusing amorphous mass. I had no idea what to do until I found the sign that told me to ‘take a ticket.’ After that, it was an easy-peasy process. There were a ton of flavors, everyone was pleasant, and the ice cream was yummy.
