It is unfortunate to have to report that I have been told they can no longer honor my business due to the amount of food I can eat in a sitting. I have been here 5 times in the past couple of months as this was and is a truly great place for AYCE sushi. Read my prior review for more details. The manager came over after my wife and I were done with our food to inform us that we are not allowed back. She was very nice and you can tell she did not want to do it. She told us about how it has been hard to find consistent workers and the food supply has been greatly impacted recently. We were given a gift and she even offered us a free meal, which we declined. This will likely not impact any other patrons as they do not order as much as we do, so I would still recommend this place if you want good food and service. As an FYI they now have a time limit of 90 minutes. _____________________________________________________________________ Be prepared for a long review as I enjoy my sushi. :) This was our first time at Miga as we have been trying a few places while our previous go-to AYCE sushi place remains closed. My wife and I went on a Tuesday night, arrived at 7:00 and expected to be seated right away. Was definitely not expecting the place to be as popular as it was, so there was a 1 hour wait to be seated. Although we only ended up waiting 25 minutes or so I will take that as a reminder to make a reservation before coming as should you. Ambience - I enjoy it when a place is full of people and has some hustle and bustle. It makes for a fun night out in my opinion and this place certainly fit the bill. The place is a bit small on the inside and I prefer a more open layout but it was not bad by any means. The sushi chefs are in the middle of the restaurant with seating to either side whereas I would prefer a more open dining area, but no big deal. The overall feel on the inside was modern(ish), with good lighting and a welcoming atmosphere which made for an enjoyable experience. Service - I am always leary about service when going to a new AYCE sushi place as we order a decent amount of food for two people and sometimes the orders are either extremely slow or they are not complete (on purpose). We called ahead to make sure that we would not be cutoff from ordering sashimi, which we have been at other places that advertise as AYCE. Some will stop bringing it or make the pieces very small. This was not the case here and I was very happy with that. The orders came out within 10-15 minutes and the waiters/waitresses were very attentive and friendly. Food - When we arrived we grabbed one of the AYCE menus just to look while we waited and we noticed that the selection was different than what we had seen in other YELP photos. The selection of sashimi was a bit more limited that we had thought in that it did not have eel, red clam, or squid. It was a bit of a bummer, but they still had other options that we prefer anyway such as yellowtail, salmon, and albacore. The pieces of sashimi were pretty generous from what we have seen elsewhere and they did not get smaller as more orders were place (thank you!). The fish was fresh and very enjoyable. The nigiri and rolls were also very good. The last few places we have been have either had way too much rice or it just didnt taste pleasant. We enjoyed all of the rolls we ordered (beauty and beast (2), ms tiger (2), philly (1) and kani lover (1)). They were nicely sized with just the right amount of rice. Also, the rice was actually good here, which is crucial. It is sushi after all! Overall we are very excited as we have finally found a replacement for our old AYCE sushi place. We will definitely be returning and hope the experience is just as good the next time. My only gripe is that I wanted a BOAT!! Haha... next time.

TLDR: Good but could be better. Needs improvement. The atmosphere is tight/cramped, loud, bustling, not intimate at all in any table area they have even after recent expansion due to their popularity but it looks clean for the most part. The parking lot is huge and it’s located in a strip mall near dollar tree. The bathrooms could use more regular maintenance and upkeep throughout the day. My parties usually always do the all you can eat option when we dine here the quality and service ranges/varies it’s usually fresh and made to order also the establishment is BYOB (I have had a few bad experiences here but the majority were good). They’re typically very attentive with service but they’re usually also trying to rush you in and out due to high volume and long wait list on the daily. If you go closer to closing time they limit you to only one or two rounds of all you can eat food due to kitchen closing. They charge money for each piece of sushi that’s not eaten if you don’t eat it all by the end. We frequently order from the all you can eat options: the Kani salad, spicy seaweed salad, chicken teriyaki, Snow White roll and the rainbow roll they’re staples. When I first started visiting Miga sushi I would’ve given it five stars but they’ve since raised their prices and kept the food the same and my main complaint now after making it my go-to local sushi spot is that they don’t offer enough variety in the rolls offered in the all you can eat menu. Most of the rolls from the all you can eat menu are featuring mainly all the same or similar ingredients and flavors. The a la carte/ Togo sushi that I’ve purchased from here is great and usually better quality than the all you can eat food which is a big bummer. Their to go menu / a la carte menu has a lot of great rolls and entrees/appetizers that aren’t included on the all you can eat menu. It would be great to see that change in the future. I think it would be amazing to see some change to the all you can eat menu: they should offer customers tiers they can purchase, the different tiers for the all you can eat menu can obviously have different pricing. The basic tier can be the all you can eat menu they have now for the all you can eat purchasers who are just looking for the basics/essentials. For people like myself who want more from their a la carte menu (that isn’t available for the all you can eat options like for example brown rice on sushi instead of white etc.) we could benefit and would definitely purchase a more premium cost tier of the all you can eat menu, let there be justification for the cost increase. Hopefully soon we can see more diversity in the all you can eat menu and desperately wanting more options offered for all you can eat like subbing brown rice on your sushi rolls or being able to order fried rice/lo mein and a wider variety in specialty rolls and regular rolls and appetizers etc.

What's not to like, it is all you can eat sushi place. You have a variety of cooked selections as well and the food is absolutely amazing. Tasty, fresh and the service is quick. We love this place, but there are several minuses. The place is small, very small and due to their great customer base, it gets very busy and even if you have a reservation, you have to wait at times. Since the place is small, there is not much waiting area, so most people have to wait outside and in the cold weather it is not a pleasant experience. Also, some of the clients waiting stand so close to some of the tables, that you feel as if they are sitting on your back while you are trying to eat your meal. You do have to make reservation as per my previous statement, because they get busy quick and the place is very small, but it is worth the experience regardless of a few minuses, because the food is amazing and all you can eat. The service is good most of the time, but at times you get a waitress or a waiter who either doesn't speak English well or not able to hear your question or request in a busy place and you get something you didn't ask for. It is not a big deal, since they will correct the error right away and will make sure that you get what you requested. All you can eat also includes variety of ice cream and appetizers. Over all it is a great place, but I just wish they were a bit bigger and had some more tables, space and room to wait inside.

Modified 4/28/21: Due to Covid, Miga only does take out, but they are still very busy and with highest quality of sushi and other items, fresh and great service. We use the online order at times and it is great, but check to make sure that online order took the gratuity, because we had to double check a few times, but others, great sushi still available and they are just as amazing as they were when it was all you can eat, which I hope comes back soon. They also expended their place, so it is bigger and can't wait to try it eating inside again. Here are some pictures from the recent take out orders. Beautiful, fresh and...
