Wow, this place has gone downhill in the past 10 years. It used to be a decent local spot for sushi. Haven't been in the area in a while and decided to stop in. We had to leave after our appetizers. We were greeted in a very short manner and the server seemed irritated with our presence. She wanted our order immediately but we wanted to review all the options. We put some appetizers in and boy were we shocked. Tempura rock shrimp appetizer came out of the kitchen just a few minutes after we ordered it. It was clearly some popcorn shrimp from a freezer box!!!!!!! I could NOT believe what we were just served. When I went to grab of sip of water I realized both of our glasses had a funky rim around the glass. I used my nail to scratch at it and it began to cake off. Yuck! The our beef Negimaki came out and it was not something that we could even eat. After one bite we looked at each other with a troubled look. Could this meet possibly be soured. It had the kind of heat coming off of it that usually happens when food is microwaved. We left the beef on the plate and asked for the check. Thank goodness we didn't order anything else. We didn't want to risk getting food poisoning right before Christmas. This was the last time I'll be...

We were hesitant to come here because of the reviews, but we took the risk. We went in, and the first thing we saw is how much nicer and fancier the place is compared to Miga. The workers were all very nice, and seemed overjoyed as it seemed like we were the only customers all day. That's another thing, the place was COMPLETELY empty. No one except the few staff that worked there. However, once we were seated we were greeted by these huge menus with a large variety of things to order. It took a lot longer than I thought it would to get out the sushi, but I found out it was for a good reason. When the server brought out the plates, our eyes were shocked by beautiful art that was created in a food form. We all dug in, and immediately were delighted by the taste of what we had ordered. My doubts of this place were gone from there, and I was ordering all I could and enjoying every last bit of it. They have so much more variety than Miga, and the staff are overall much more pleasant. I will definitely be coming here often, and I recommend trying this place out if you want a great experience with...
Read moreWe ended up here because the other sushi joint was packed and we were turned away. This place was practically empty except for one other party of 7. The waitress gave us our menus and asked us for our drinks. After serving our drinks, she brought to our attention they are completely out of avocados and they would substitute with cucumber. Half of their special rolls menu contains avocado; it seems like something they should be amply prepared for on a regular basis. It's been known to make special trips to the supermarkets to get unique goods; I cannot accept this couldn't have been accomplished. We each ordered a special rolls and some additional items. My friends was "good" and mine was sub-par. I questioned the structure of my roll and the ingredients, it didn't match what I thought I ordered. I should have asked for the menu back to verify. I would have given 3 stars but my meal had 3 hard pieces that was not chew-able. One piece was a piece of shell and the others are unknown.
I don't anticipate I will...
